Together they run about 509 major schemes for women in the country, which cover the different needs of women in society. These include schemes for women of all age groups and from all social and economic classes.

How Narendra Modi Schemes For Women Impacted Their Lives

Narendra Modi government schemes for women have helped their lives in a big way. Over 4.27 crore beneficiaries have got benefit under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, and over 4 crore houses have been approved under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin. In addition, the central government has given over 10.57 crore LPG connections under PM Ujjwala Yojana, and about 55 crore families are covered under Ayushman Bharat PMJAY Scheme. More than 11 crore toilets have already been built. Over 57 crore loans have been granted under PM Mudra Yojana, and women make up about 60% of the borrowers.

There is a 50% increase in the honorarium of Asha and Anganwadi workers, and maternity leave has been extended up to 26 weeks. There are more than 4.75 crore accounts opened under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, with total deposits crossing ₹3.33 lakh crore. Also, 1.92 crore scholarships have been given to girl students from minority communities. Women can also get loans up to ₹1 crore under Startup India Scheme.

The state of affairs of the disabled is so sad that we dont get even responses from ministries and department of social justice and other concerned people even after sending hundred of reminders and the govt claims to be giving several benefits. Can someone come and say anyone benefitted on these. It is all on papers. Even Maharashtra, we have sent several applications to various departments and the chief minister. While the CM office forwards the same to other departments, these departments sleep over it and do not even respond. It is because of our parents we are today what we are and government is not at all sympathetic towards the disabled nor do they want to hear the cries of the disabled. Politicians have time only to think how to get crores of money to their bank account and who will get more than the other. It is a total waste asking for any help from the Ministry here in our country.
