Under this Bangla Shasya Bima (BSB) scheme, the state government provides free crop insurance cover to farmers, with the full premium paid by the government. Bangla Shasya Bima Yojana 2026

Bangla Shasya Bima scheme was launched in collaboration with insurance companies to protect farmers from crop losses. Farmers do not have to pay any premium amount to get the Bangla Shasya Bima scheme benefits. On behalf of the farmers, the state government bears the full crop insurance premium. All the Bangla Shasya Bima scheme beneficiaries get insurance paid in 4 stages and the amount is calculated per hectare.
