Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme 2026 Payment Status: Jagananna Vidya Deevena is the full fee reimbursement scheme of Andhra Pradesh govt. run under the AP Post Matric Scholarships system. The scheme is meant for mothers of students studying in ITI, polytechnic, degree, engineering, medical and other higher education courses, and the fee money is paid directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released the first installment of Rs. 671.45 crore on 19 April 2021 and afterwards the state government kept releasing installments on a regular basis for every academic year.

As of August 2026, Jagananna Vidya Deevena is still in operation and the fee reimbursement work is now done through the official Jnanabhumi portal at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in. The old money used to reach college management accounts earlier, but now the amount is credited to the bank account of the student's mother through Direct Benefit Transfer or DBT payment. STEP 1 - Go to the official Jnanabhumi portal at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in and click on the Login button on the homepage.

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released the early installments for the 2021-22 academic year in this order: the first installment of Rs. 671.45 crore on 19 April 2021, the second installment of Rs. 693.81 crore on 29 July 2021, the third installment of Rs. 686 crore on 30 November 2021, the fourth installment of Rs. 708 crore on 16 March 2022, the fifth installment of Rs. 709 crore on 5 May 2022 and the sixth installment of Rs. 693 crore on 11 August 2022. Today the amount continues to be paid quarterly through the Jnanabhumi portal for every new academic year, and the exact release dates are shown on the dashboard.

The application for Jagananna Vidya Deevena is submitted through the Jnanabhumi portal, which is the main online portal for all AP Post Matric Scholarship schemes. The old Navasakam portal and its old application form are no longer in use, and the application is now made with the help of the Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Form, or JSAF, which is collected from the college. Along with this scheme, the state government has also launched Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme and YSR Kapu Nestam Scheme for the benefit of students.

Eligible students can fill their details online at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in or submit the JSAF form signed copy to their college principal. Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme Eligibility

The main points of eligibility for the fully funded fee reimbursement scheme are given below. Check these before applying online or filling the form from the college.

• The student must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh and must belong to SC, ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority or Differently Abled category.
• The total annual family income should be Rs. 2.5 lakh or less, which is the general income limit for the scheme.
• Families having up to 10 acres of wet land or 25 acres of dry land are eligible, and families of sanitation workers and those fully dependent on taxi, auto and tractor are also allowed.
• No family member should be an income tax payer or a government pensioner, since such families are not eligible for the benefit.
• The student must keep a minimum of 75% attendance in the college to receive the installment money.

Under the RTF (Reimbursement of Tuition Fee) part of the scheme, the full tuition fee of the student is paid directly to the mother's account. Under the separate maintenance part known as Jagananna Vasathi Deevena, the student gets extra money each year, which is Rs. 10,000 for ITI students, Rs. 15,000 for polytechnic students and Rs. 20,000 for degree, engineering and medical students. The state government has been clearing the arrears of the previous years and paying installments in a clear manner so that students do not drop out because of money problems.
