Delhi Widow Pension Scheme Apply Online: Delhi govt. is accepting online application forms for the Widow Pension Scheme at the edistrict portal. Under this Delhi Vidhwa Pension Yojana, widowed, divorced, separated, abandoned and destitute women can apply for a monthly pension of ₹2,500. Eligible women can fill the Delhi Vidhwa Pension Yojana form to apply online.

Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) is running this scheme and invites Vidhwa Pension Yojana online application forms. Widow Pension Scheme in Delhi provides social security by way of financial support to widows, divorced, separated, abandoned, deserted or destitute women in the age group of 18 years to lifelong. Steps to Apply Online for Delhi Widow Pension Scheme

STEP 1 - Visit the official website edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in.

STEP 2 - At the homepage, click on "New User" under the 'Citizen's Corner' section.

STEP 3 - A new user registration form will appear as follows:

STEP 4 - Here candidates can select the document type, enter the document number and click "Continue" for the user registration form as shown below:

STEP 5 - Fill all the details correctly and click "Continue to Register" to complete the registration process. After successful registration, you will receive the "Registration ID" and "Password" on the given mobile number.

STEP 6 - Now login using the Registration ID and Password to apply online for the Widow Pension Scheme in Delhi.

STEP 7 - After logging in, go to the "Apply Online" link and click the "Apply" button of Sr. No. 25 (Pension Scheme for Women in Distress) under the Women and Child Development Department.

STEP 8 - Complete all the details of the application form and select "Widow" under the category option to apply for the Widow Pension Scheme.

STEP 9 - Upload the required documents in scanned format. Each document should be less than 100KB. After uploading all the required documents, click "Final Submit", verify the OTP and take a printout of the application form.

STEP 10 - Contact the district office along with the application form and original copy of the required documents. Check the application status online on the same Delhi edistrict portal, fix any objection and re-submit the application form if needed.

Eligibility for Delhi Widow Pension Scheme

Any woman who is applying for the widow pension scheme must meet the following criteria:

• Woman must be a resident of Delhi for at least 5 years before the date of application.
• Woman must be a widow with proof of death of the deceased person, or be divorced, separated, abandoned or destitute.
• Should have a singly-operated bank account linked with the Aadhaar number.
• Should have the residence proof of Delhi.
• Annual income of the family from all sources should not exceed ₹1 lakh.
• Should not be getting any pension from the Central Govt., State Govt., MCD or NDMC for this purpose.
