HP Medha Protsahan Yojana 2026 Eligibility

• The candidate applying under Medha Protsahan Yojana should be a bonafide Himachali and a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• The total family income of the candidate should be less than ₹2.5 lakh per year and should not be more than double the below poverty line income.

• The support amount is given for all the competitive exams conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
• Students can apply for coaching to prepare for CLAT, IIT-JEE, AIIMS, AFMC and NEET like competitive exams.
• The total family income of the meritorious students from all sources must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh per year.

The state government of Himachal Pradesh has made a budgetary provision of ₹5 crore for coaching support under the Medha Protsahan Yojana for which an announcement was made in the HP Budget 2026.
