Saksham Yuva Yojana Haryana 2026 - Online Registration, Application Status & Allowance

Haryana government's Saksham Yuva Yojana (Educated Youth Allowance and Honorarium Scheme) is accepting online applications for unemployed educated youth of the state. The scheme gives a monthly unemployment allowance and honorarium to 12th pass, graduate and post graduate youth who are registered with the Haryana Employment Exchange.

The scheme was launched on 1 November 2016 and continues to run under the Employment Department of Haryana. Under this scheme, eligible youth get work experience in government departments, boards, corporations and registered societies, along with a monthly allowance. The main aim is to help unemployed educated youth of Haryana build skills and earn a regular income while they look for a permanent job.

In 2026, the Haryana government has given a fresh push to this scheme. On 30 July 2026, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that CET pass unemployed youth who did not get a government job even after two years of clearing the Common Eligibility Test will get an honorarium under this scheme from 1 November 2026 (Haryana Day). The state government has already identified over 5.40 lakh such youth. The exact monthly amount and detailed rules are yet to be released by the government.

For the regular Saksham Yuva Yojana, the monthly unemployment allowance is now fixed as 1200 rupees for 12th pass, 2000 rupees for graduates and 3500 rupees for post graduates. Along with this, youth who are given 100 hours of work per month in a government office get an honorarium of 6000 rupees. So a post graduate youth can get up to 9500 rupees in total every month directly in the bank account.

Online Registration for Saksham Yuva Yojana

Application for Haryana Saksham Yuva Yojana can be done online from a mobile, laptop or desktop computer. The complete online registration process is given below.

STEP 1 - First go to the official portal of the scheme at hreyahs.gov.in. This is the official website of the Employment Department of Haryana.

STEP 2 - On the homepage, go to the Login/Sign In section and click on the "SAKSHAM Yuva" link as shown below.

STEP 3 - After this, the Saksham Yuva login form will open. Below the form, click on the "SignUp/Register" link.

STEP 4 - After clicking this link, a page will open where you have to select your qualification and then click on the "Go to Registration" link.

STEP 5 - After clicking this link, the Saksham Yojana registration form will open. In this form, select the box "You are registering for SAKSHAM YUVA Scheme", then select "YES" for "Are you a resident of Haryana?", choose the domicile type and fill in your date of birth. After filling all this information, the registration form will open. Fill in the remaining details and click on the "Register" button at the bottom.

STEP 6 - After clicking the "Register" button, your registration will be complete and you will get an Acknowledgement or Registration number. After this, login and select the work areas and your preferred district where you want to work.

Important: Before registering for the Saksham Yuva Yojana, you must have a Haryana Employment Exchange registration number. You can get this number by registering on the Haryana Employment Exchange portal.

Eligibility for Saksham Yuva Yojana

The main eligibility conditions for the Saksham Yuva Yojana are given below. Only youth who meet all these conditions can apply for the scheme.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
• The applicant must be registered with the Haryana Employment Exchange. If not registered, first get a registration number from the Haryana Employment Exchange portal.
• Graduate and post graduate applicants must have their degree from a regular course of a recognized university in Haryana, or from Punjab University Patiala, UT Chandigarh or NCT Delhi. Applicants who got their degree through correspondence and are already getting benefit will continue to get it.
• The applicant must have passed 10+2 from a recognized school under the Board of School Education Haryana Bhiwani, CBSE or ICSE board.
• The age of the applicant must be between 21 and 35 years for graduate and post graduate, and between 18 and 35 years for 10+2.
• Applicants who passed 10+2 through correspondence or the National Open School are not considered eligible.
• The applicant must not be a full time student of any regular course.
• The applicant must not be a dismissed employee of government service.
• The applicant must not be employed in any public, private, semi government or self employment.
• The total annual family income of the applicant from all sources must not be more than 3 lakh rupees.
• The honorarium is paid for a maximum of 3 years (36 months) or till the age of 35 years, whichever comes first.

Application Status of Saksham Yuva Scheme

Applicants who have applied on the portal can check the status of their application online. Follow the steps given below to check the application status.

STEP 1 - Go to the status check link on the official website of the scheme.

STEP 2 - On this page, select your "District", "Qualification Choice", "Qualification" and "Gender" and click on the "Search" button.

STEP 3 - After clicking the Search button, a list will appear where you can check your status in the last column of the table.

Saksham Yuva Scheme Benefits

Under the Saksham Yuva Yojana, eligible youth get three types of benefits. These are the unemployment allowance, the honorarium and skill training.

Unemployment allowance: Post graduate youth get 3500 rupees per month, graduate youth get 2000 rupees per month and 12th pass applicants get 1200 rupees per month.

Honorarium: All 12th pass, graduate and post graduate applicants get 6000 rupees per month for 100 hours of honor work.

Skill training: All eligible applicants get skill training to improve their chances of finding a job.
