Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar Yojana is accepting new enrollments at the official portal janaadhaar.rajasthan.gov.in. Jan Aadhaar Card works on the idea of One Number, One Card, One Identity for every resident family of the state. After successful enrollment and two-level verification, the family gets a 10-digit Jan Aadhaar family ID and every member gets an 11-digit individual ID.

Jan Aadhaar Card is now the single identity document for availing state schemes, DBT payments, ration, pensions and health benefits in Rajasthan. The scheme is also linked with DigiLocker, so residents can store the Jan Aadhaar e-card on their DigiLocker account. In 2026, the state has brought new rules for auto enrollment of newborn children, auto deletion of members after death, and a fee limit for updates made through SSO.

Rajasthan Bhamashah Yojana and Bhamashah Card Welfare Scheme Benefits

In 2014, the state government of Rajasthan introduced the Bhamashah Yojana and Bhamashah card to help women. Under the scheme, women from below poverty line (BPL) families get benefits through direct benefit transfer. The beneficiary of the scheme gets the amount directly into their bank account.

Bhamashah card is a family card issued in the name of the woman because she is considered the head of the family. The Bhamashah card is required for claiming birth, death and marriage certificates. However, this card has become a problem for beneficiaries because they are missing out on benefits of schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAYG) and Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana.

Initially, the Bhamashah card was not required to avail the benefits of the schemes, but the state government made the card required in June 2017. Therefore, beneficiaries without the card were excluded.

Bhamashah Yojana and Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana

In 2016, the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana was launched to encourage girl child education and stop female foeticide. Under the scheme, a new mother of a girl child receives Rs. 2,500 on the completion of one year. In addition, if all vaccinations are done, the second installment of Rs. 2,500 also gets credited to the account of the mother. Check the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana details.

In the absence of the Bhamashah card, thousands of beneficiaries have been deprived of benefits under the Rajshri and PMAY Gramin schemes. The government made the card required in June 2017. Hence, the beneficiary of the first installment could not claim the second installment because they did not have the card.

The government has urged the beneficiaries of previous years to convert their Jan Dhan account into a general account. But the state government has informed that they are not willing to convert the Bhamashah Yojana account into a general account. For this reason, the beneficiaries of Rajshri Yojana and PMAYG are still deprived of the second installment because their accounts are under Bhamashah Yojana.
