How to Apply for Swami Vivekananda Post-Matric Scholarship
Process is simple because the school handles the online part. Students only have to give correct papers and check that the entry is done properly.
STEP 1 - Collect all required documents first, mainly Aadhaar card, Samagra ID, BPL or ration card, income certificate, domicile certificate, last class marksheet and bank passbook copy.
STEP 2 - Meet the Principal or the scholarship in-charge teacher of your government school and tell them you want to apply under Swami Vivekananda Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme.
STEP 3 - Give the document copies to the school so that the portal operator can enter your details in the state education portal record of your school.

Eligibility

2026 Update on the Scheme
Scholarship rates under this scheme have not been revised, so the yearly amount stays at ₹550 for girls and ₹500 for boys as on 04 August 2026. No closure notice has come from the School Education Department either, so the scheme continues for government school students.
Two things have changed on the process side across Madhya Pradesh scholarship schemes. Aadhaar based eKYC is now required for the student profile, and without it the DBT payment does not go through. Students moving to Class 11 and above under SC, ST or OBC category schemes are also asked to finish One Time Registration on the National Scholarship Portal before their state application is processed. Since the state portal links keep shifting, always confirm the current login page with your school before filling anything.
