Eligibility

To apply, a woman must meet the following conditions:

  • Be a woman living in Manipur.
  • Be at least 40 years of age.
  • Not be getting benefit from any other individual government welfare scheme.
  • Have no independent source of income or livelihood.
  • Belong to one of these groups: widows, divorcees, separated women, single women, single transgender women, deprived or left out women, or women from poor families.

Application Process

Applications are accepted offline. Women need to follow these steps to apply:

STEP 1 - Download the application form or collect a physical copy from the Directorate Office near the 2nd MR Gate.

STEP 2 - Fill in all required fields correctly and attach the self-attested documents asked for.

STEP 3 - Submit the completed form to the District Social Welfare Officer in your district, or submit it at Imphal.

STEP 4 - Get a receipt or acknowledgment from the office, which carries the submission date and a unique identification number for tracking later.

  • Certificate showing non-beneficiary status under other government schemes, issued by Panchayat, Municipality or District Council.

  • Proof of age such as Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate.
  • Residence Certificate with the seal and signature of a Gazetted Officer.
