Madhya Pradesh farmers can register their Farmer ID at the official MP farmer registry portal on mpfr.agristack.gov.in. Registration is open right now through the portal, CSC centers and Lok Seva Kendras. More than 58 lakh Farmer IDs have already been created in Madhya Pradesh.

Farmer ID, also called Kisan Pehchan Patra or Kisan ID, is a single digital number that ties your Aadhaar, your land record and your crop details together. From 2026, this ID is a mandatory requirement for across farm schemes in the state, including PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Kisan Credit Card and fertilizer e-Token booking. Without it, new applications get stuck.

STEP 3 - An OTP will come to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar. Enter it to finish the e-KYC step. If your mobile is not linked with Aadhaar, this step will fail and you will have to do biometric checking at a CSC instead.

STEP 4 - Fill in your Samagra ID and your land details. The portal pulls your land record from MP Bhulekh on its own and shows your Khasra and B1 entries for checking.

STEP 5 - Check every Khasra number shown against your own papers. If something does not match, open mpbhulekh.gov.in in another tab, see the correct Khasra and B1 details there, and enter the right ones. A mismatch can be the reason your registration gets rejected.

STEP 6 - Upload a passport size photo in JPG format, kept under 100 KB, and add your bank account number with IFSC code.

STEP 7 - Submit the form and write down the Enrollment ID that appears on the screen. Take a screenshot as well. Verification takes 7 to 15 working days, after which your Farmer ID is generated.

Documents Needed for Farmer ID in MP

Nothing on this list is unusual, but every one of them has to match the others. Keep them in front of you before you start, because the portal times out if you go hunting for papers in the middle.

  • Aadhaar card linked with a working mobile number, since the whole registration runs on Aadhaar OTP.
  • Samagra ID, which is asked only in Madhya Pradesh and not in other state registries.
  • Land record papers, that is your Khasra number and B1 from MP Bhulekh, showing the land in your name.
  • Bank passbook with account number and IFSC code, for scheme money to land in the right place.
  • Passport size photo in JPG format under 100 KB.

Registration Through CSC or Lok Seva Kendra

Farmers can also visit the nearest Common Service Centre, MP Online kiosk or Lok Seva Kendra with their Aadhaar, Samagra ID, land papers and bank passbook. The operator fills the form for you and does biometric checking if your mobile is not linked to Aadhaar.

Registration is free at these centers too. The Revenue Department has also been running special camps in rural areas using modern survey methods, which is how the state pushed past 58 lakh Farmer IDs. Alongside this, 68,11,000 property right records have been prepared in villages under Swamitva Yojana, and about 98 percent of that work is done. Farmers holding a verified land right no longer need to run between offices to get a bank loan.

Why Farmer ID Matters in 2026

Madhya Pradesh is one of the states where a Farmer ID has been made compulsory for new PM Kisan applicants. The ID also removes duplicate entries in scheme records, which is what used to hold up subsidy payments for months.

State support such as Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana and crop sale payments under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana both run on the same verified record.

FAQ's

Is there any fee for MP Farmer Registry?

No. Registration is free whether you do it yourself on the portal or through a CSC, MP Online kiosk or Lok Seva Kendra. If someone asks for money for the registration itself, that is not an official charge.

Can two people make a Farmer ID on the same land?

Yes. If the land is jointly held, every share holder can make a separate Farmer ID against their own share.

Can tenant farmers register?

Yes, under the Bataidaar category, with a valid lease paper or written permission from the land owner. It is a separate entry from the owner's Farmer ID.

My land record does not match the portal. What now?

Check your Khasra and B1 on mpbhulekh.gov.in first and enter the correct details. If the record on Bhulekh itself is wrong, get it corrected at the Tehsil office before finishing your registration.

How long before the Farmer ID is generated?

Usually 7 to 15 working days after you submit. You can track the stage by logging in with your registered mobile number.
