Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana 2026 is a state government scheme of Madhya Pradesh that offers financial support to farmers. Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana 2026 Latest Update

On 27 July 2026, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the 14th and 15th installments of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana together. An amount of Rs. 3,308 crore was transferred directly to the bank accounts of more than 82.70 lakh farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. The release was made during the Balram Krishi Mahotsav held in Khandwa. Since two installments were released together, farmers received Rs. 4,000 in one go.

That transfer covered the third installment of 2025-26 and the first installment of 2026-27. So if you are counting installments and the numbers look odd, this is why.

The state government has declared 2026 as the Farmer Welfare Year to promote modern farming methods and improve farmers' income. The scheme was started by the state government in September 2020 during the fourth term of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Under the scheme, the state government adds its own amount on top of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi support that farmers already get from the central government.

Earlier, the state government used to give Rs. 4,000 per year to farmers under this scheme in two installments of Rs. 2,000 each. The amount has now been increased to Rs. 6,000 per year, paid in three installments of Rs. 2,000 each. This change brings the state support in line with the structure of the central PM Kisan scheme. Many older articles still mention the old Rs. 4,000 figure, so farmers should check the official SAARA portal for the current amount.

Kisan Kalyan Yojana Under Krishak Kalyan Varsh 2026

Madhya Pradesh has declared 2026 as Krishak Kalyan Varsh, and this scheme sits inside that larger plan. A budget of Rs. 1.15 lakh crore has been kept for agriculture and allied departments for the year, and 15 departments have been put on a single platform so files do not travel from one office to another.

Two other decisions matter for the same farmers who get this installment. Short term crop loans stay at 0 percent interest in 2026-27, and the repayment date is now a single date 12 months from the first withdrawal instead of separate kharif and rabi dates. Crop sale is covered separately through Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, which now covers soybean, mustard, paddy and maize.

Installment Not Received, What To Check First

Most missed payments come down to three things, and all three can be fixed without running to Bhopal. Check your PM Kisan e-KYC first, because the state payment rides on the same verification. Then check that your bank account is linked with Aadhaar, since DBT will not land in an unlinked account. Last, check that the name in your land record matches the name on your Aadhaar, letter for letter.

If all three look fine and the money still has not come, the local Patwari office is the right place to go. From 2026, a Farmer ID from the MP farmer registry is also being asked for across farm schemes, so getting that made saves trouble later.

MP Kisan Kalyan Yojana Registration and Application Form

New Farmers Apply Process for CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana

According to the guidelines, farmers who are still not registered for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will have to make PM Kisan Scheme registration first. Eligibility Criteria for MP Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana

The eligibility criteria for the MP Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is similar to that of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. It means that all eligible PM Kisan beneficiary farmers of Madhya Pradesh will now get Rs. 12,000 per year. The following categories of beneficiaries of higher economic status shall not be eligible for benefit under the scheme. All Institutional Land holders along with other farmer families which belong to one or more of the following categories are not eligible.

• Former and present holders of constitutional posts
• Former and present Ministers / State Ministers and former / present Members of LokSabha / RajyaSabha / State Legislative Assemblies / State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
• All serving or retired officers and employees of Central / State Government Ministries / Offices / Departments and its field units, Central or State PSEs and attached offices / Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV / Group D employees)
• All superannuated / retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs. 10,000 or more (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV / Group D employees) of the above category
• All persons who paid Income Tax in the last assessment year

Support Amount to Farmers in MKKY Scheme

The central government provides Rs. 6,000 per year to farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Now the MP state govt. adds Rs. 6,000 per year in that amount under the CM Farmers Welfare Scheme (Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana). Accordingly, now all the PM-Kisan beneficiary farmers get Rs. 12,000 per annum. The distribution of the amount will be as given below:-

• Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: 3 Installments of Rs. 2,000 each totaling to Rs. 6,000 in a single year.
• Under Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana: 3 Installments of Rs. 2,000 each totaling to Rs. 6,000 in a single year.

Thus each farmer in Madhya Pradesh will be eligible to get 6 equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each to a total amount of Rs. 12,000 per annum.

Official Launch of MP Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana

The official announcement regarding the launch of the MP Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana was made by the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The scheme was started in September 2020 to give extra financial support to farmers of the state on top of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi amount.

Full Safety Cover for Farmers

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said the government is giving farmers of the state a full safety cover, and that decisions in their favour keep coming one after another. Crop loans at 0 percent interest were the first of those. After that, pending crop insurance money from earlier years was credited to farmer accounts. Kisan Credit Cards were then handed to farmers in the state who had been left out, and support money was transferred to the accounts of cooperative societies. Farmers are now being paid through the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi route as well.
