Madhu Babu Pension Yojana - Introduction
Madhu Babu Pension Yojana, managed by the Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department, offers essential money support to poor groups across Odisha. This scheme covers older individuals, widows, and people with disabilities who face money problems.
This scheme merged earlier schemes like the State Old Age Pension Scheme (1989) and the Orissa Disability Pension Scheme (1985) in January 2008. It provides support to individuals with benchmark disabilities, regardless of age, provided they face difficulty doing daily tasks because of their condition. Whether you are a widow or an elderly person in need, this scheme helps you keep a better quality of life.
