Devnarayan Girls Scooty Yojana Final Merit List for 2025-26 is out, and Department of College Education, Rajasthan has begun the document matching stage for selected girls. Merit ranks 1 to 4240 get the scooty benefit and the rest of the eligible girls get Protsahan Rashi as per rules. From 2025-26 the state raised the scooty count from 1,500 to 4,240 a year, the biggest change in this scheme since it started in 2018.

Second big change is in how the benefit reaches the girl. Instead of handing over a scooty at the college, Rajasthan Government now sends the money through an e-RUPI voucher or DBT to her bank account, and she buys the scooty herself. Same shift applies to Kali Bai Bheel Scooty Yojana as well.

This scheme covers girl students from communities like Gurjar, Banjara, Gadia Lohar, Raika, Rebari, Gadriya, Gadri, and Gayri who scored 50% or more in their 12th class exams and have taken admission in a government college or university. Along with the scooty benefit, eligible students who do not make the scooty merit list also get a yearly cash incentive to support their higher education. Applications for the year 2025-26 were open from 23 September to 31 October 2025 at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.

Final Merit List 2025-26 - How the Selection Closed

Selection for 2025-26 went through more than one round of lists. Commissionerate of College Education, Jaipur first put out a provisional merit list, then a revised provisional list at the end of June 2026 that carried every application checked and approved by district nodal colleges up to 22 June 2026.

Girls could file a written objection at their own college till 6 July 2026. Colleges prepared the objection lists and sent them to their district nodal college by 8 July 2026, and district nodal colleges cleared all objections through the departmental portal panel by 11 July 2026. Final merit list was prepared after that.

Department has told principals and district nodal officers to match the marks percentage of every girl in the final list against her original senior secondary marksheet and other required papers. Keep those originals ready for your college. If any information in the application turns out to be wrong or hidden, action can be taken as per rules.

Money in Bank Account Instead of a Scooty

Buying scooties through tender, storing them and handing them over at college camps used to take months. Rajasthan Government has dropped that route. Selected girls now get the approved scooty amount, ₹70,000, as an e-RUPI voucher or straight into their bank account, and they buy the scooty and accessories themselves from any brand.

Payment order follows the merit lists. Girls on the 2024-25 permanent list are being paid first, and the 2025-26 batch comes after that. Because everything now runs on bank transfer, one wrong digit in your account number can hold up the whole payment. Check these points in your application.

STEP 1 - Log in at sso.rajasthan.gov.in and open the Scholarship (CE, TAD, Minority) app where you filled the Devnarayan form.

STEP 2 - Check that the bank account is in the girl's own name, is running, is linked with Jan Aadhaar, and has DBT enabled. If DBT is not switched on, ask your bank branch to enable it.

STEP 3 - Upload a clear photo of the first page of the passbook where account number, IFSC code and name are readable.

STEP 4 - Save the form and ask your college to forward it to the district nodal officer. Money moves only after the college and nodal officer verify it.

If your name, father's name, date of birth or mobile number is printed wrong in the list, that error is sitting in your Jan Aadhaar record. Get it fixed at an eMitra centre first, then update your profile in the scholarship application online.

Eligibility for Devnarayan Scooty Yojana 2025-26

Before applying for this scheme, girls should check whether they meet all the conditions set by the Rajasthan government. Here is a complete list of who can apply:

  • The girl must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan and belong to one of the Most Backward Classes (MBC) - Gurjar, Banjara, Baldiya, Labana, Gadia Lohar, Gadoliya, Raika, Rebari (Debasi, Dewasi), Gadriya, Gadri, or Gayri.
  • Annual family income of parents, husband, or guardian must be less than ₹2,50,000. The girl's parents should not be government employees.
  • She must be regularly studying in a government college or state-funded university after completing 12th class with 50% or more marks. There should be no gap year between 12th and the first year of graduation, or between graduation final year and the first year of post-graduation.
  • She must not be receiving benefits from any other scholarship or financial support scheme. Married, unmarried, and widowed girls are all eligible.

Benefits Under Devnarayan Scooty Yojana

Scheme gives two types of benefits depending on the student's merit rank. The first 4,240 girls who top the merit list get the scooty benefit, while others who are eligible but did not make that cut get yearly cash support instead.

Scooty Benefit: Top-ranked girls from MBC communities who score 50% or more in 12th and take admission in a government college's first year of bachelor's degree get the scooty benefit. Earlier this came as a scooty with one year of insurance, two litres of petrol and delivery charges. Now it is paid as an e-RUPI voucher or bank transfer, so the girl buys the vehicle and accessories herself.

Cash Incentive (Protsahan Rashi): Girls who meet the eligibility criteria but do not get the scooty benefit receive yearly cash amounts. For bachelor's degree students, ₹10,000 per year is given for the first, second, and third year (condition: 75% or more marks in the previous year). For post-graduation students, ₹20,000 per year is provided for the first and second year (condition: 75% or more marks in the first year to get second year amount).
