Goa government has launched Goa Ujjwala Scheme on 5 September 2026, and application forms are being handed out at panchayat and municipal offices across the state. Under this scheme, eligible households get ₹3,000 every year, which is almost equal to the cost of three domestic LPG refills.

Money is directly sent into the bank account through DBT. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said around 2.5 lakh people will be covered in the first phase, and ₹100 crore has been kept aside under Directorate of Civil Supplies to run it.

Application form and where to get it

Forms reached panchayats, municipalities and MLA offices on 5 September 2026. Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has not uploaded a downloadable PDF of the form yet.

Who can apply

Any Goa resident with a domestic LPG or PNG connection in their name can apply. There is no income limit, so open category families apply the same way as people already on a welfare scheme. Only one domestic connection per household gets the money, and people from other states are not covered.

Documents required

Open category applicants attach photocopies of four things with the form.

  • Your domestic LPG or PNG connection document, so the department can match the connection to the household
  • Aadhaar card copy
  • Bank passbook copy showing the account number where the ₹3,000 should land
  • EPIC, which is your voter ID card

Griha Aadhar and Dayanand Social Security Scheme families have it easier. They submit the form with a copy of the bank passbook and nothing else.
