Registration Process for Delhi Lakshmi Yojana

Registration is done on the official website dly.delhi.gov.in. Keep the Aadhaar card, Delhi Voter ID, bank passbook and scanned copies of documents ready before starting.

STEP 1 - Open dly.delhi.gov.in and click the Apply button, then choose Register Now. Enter the Aadhaar number, name as printed on Aadhaar, date of birth, select Female as gender, type the captcha and click Continue.

STEP 2 - Log in and start the application. Answer every eligibility question honestly, because a wrong answer gets the application rejected at the checking stage.

STEP 3 - Fill personal details like name, Aadhaar number, date of birth and address. Match every spelling with the Aadhaar card.

STEP 4 - Enter the details of all family members. This decides whether the applicant is counted as the eldest woman in the household.

STEP 5 - Give the bank account details. The monthly money will be used through this account, so use an account in the applicant's own name linked with Aadhaar.

STEP 6 - Upload all required documents in the format the portal asks for. Aadhaar, Delhi Voter ID, photo and signature, one residence proof and one age proof.

STEP 7 - Preview the full application, fix anything wrong, then submit the final form.

STEP 8 - Upload the signed copy of the MP or MLA endorsement letter, then download the acknowledgement receipt and save it.

Sanjivani Yojana and Senior Citizen Health Cover

Sanjivani Yojana was announced as a free treatment scheme for senior citizens above 60, with the full cost borne by the Delhi government. This scheme was not implemented by the current government. Instead, senior citizens in Delhi now get health cover through Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana.

Under Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana, senior citizens aged 70 and above get free treatment. In Delhi, the cover goes up to ₹10 lakh by adding state funds to the central scheme. This is different from the earlier Sanjivani Yojana promise, which covered all people above 60.
