Uttar Pradesh government is running Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana in 2026 with a raised benefit of ₹1,00,000 per couple, and registration is open online at cmsvy.upsdc.gov.in. Social Welfare Department runs this scheme for daughters of poor families, and also for remarriage of widows, divorced women and abandoned women.

Earlier the support was ₹51,000 per couple. Now ₹60,000 goes straight into the bride's bank account, ₹25,000 is given as wedding gifts and household goods, and ₹15,000 is spent on the ceremony arrangements. Family income limit has also been raised to ₹3 lakh a year.

Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana 2026 Online Application

Application is done online on the scheme portal, and the whole process starts with Aadhaar based e-KYC of both bride and groom. Keep the Aadhaar linked mobile number handy because an OTP comes on it. Old childhood photo on the Aadhaar card can cause a problem in verification, so get it updated first if needed.

STEP 1 - Open the official website of the scheme at cmsvy.upsdc.gov.in on your phone or computer.

STEP 2 - On the homepage, click the link given under 'Apply' and finish Aadhaar authentication by entering the Aadhaar number and date of birth of both bride and groom, then the OTP received on the registered mobile number, and the captcha code shown on screen.

STEP 3 - A form will open. Fill personal details, marriage details, yearly income details and bank details of the bride, upload the required documents, enter the captcha and click the 'SUBMIT' button.

STEP 4 - Save or print the acknowledgement. After that the District Social Welfare Officer office checks the form, and once approved the marriage is added to a mass wedding ceremony held at Nagar Panchayat, Municipal body or Zila Panchayat level.

Who Can Apply

Rules are simple and open to all communities. Read the points below before filling the form, because income proof and age proof are checked closely at the district office.

  • Applicant should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh, and the marriage should take place inside the state through a mass wedding ceremony.
  • Yearly income of the family from all sources should be up to ₹3 lakh. So if a family earns ₹2,80,000 in a year, it still qualifies.
  • Bride should be 18 years or older and groom should be 21 years or older on the date of marriage.
  • Benefit is given for a first marriage of the girl, but widows, legally divorced women and abandoned women can also apply for remarriage.
  • Mass wedding events are arranged by the local body, so a group of couples is registered together for one ceremony date.

Documents Required

Keep clear scanned copies ready before you sit for the online form, since uploads are part of the same session and a missing paper means starting again.

  • Aadhaar card of bride and groom, with an updated photo and a mobile number linked for OTP.
  • Age proof such as birth certificate, school certificate or any valid document showing date of birth.
  • Income certificate of the bride's family issued by the tehsil.
  • Bank passbook of the bride, since the ₹60,000 payment goes to her account only.
  • Address proof of Uttar Pradesh residence and recent photographs of both bride and groom.
  • Caste certificate if the family belongs to SC, ST or OBC, and death certificate or divorce order in case of remarriage.
