Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Odisha List shows the names of families selected for housing support in the state. Odisha has been the top state in the country for completing houses under PMAY-U 2.0, holding the first position from March 2025 to March 2026. Rural families are covered under PMAY-Gramin, and the state rural housing department publishes their list on its own portal.
Families who applied for a pucca house can check their name online without visiting any office. This article explains where the urban and rural PMAY Odisha lists are published and how to search a name step by step.

PMAY has two parts. PMAY-Urban 2.0 covers families living in towns and cities, while PMAY-Gramin covers families in villages. Both maintain separate lists, so the way to check a name is different. Urban names are linked to the application and Aadhaar details, and rural names are published gram panchayat wise on the PMAY-G portal.
STEP 1 - Visit the PMAY-Urban 2.0 official website and look for the beneficiary and status section on the homepage. The portal also lets people who applied earlier track their subsidy status.

STEP 2 - Enter the Aadhaar number or the registration number used at the time of application in the search box.
STEP 3 - Select Odisha as the state, then choose the district and the urban local body from the drop down list.
STEP 4 - Click the search or show button. The screen will display the application status and the list details if the name is present.
STEP 5 - For the rural list, open the PMAY-Gramin official website, go to Stakeholders, click IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary and choose Advanced Search. Pick Odisha along with district, block and gram panchayat, then submit to see the village wise list.

Odisha Rural Housing Department also shares housing work orders, new survey details and the state housing list on its own portal. Families covered under the state rural housing programme can check the Odisha Rural Housing official website for updates. The state list is also explained in this Rural Housing Odisha list guide.

Benefits of PMAY Odisha
PMAY-U 2.0 gives central support to 1 crore poor and middle class urban families so they can construct, purchase or rent an affordable house in a city. Under the urban mission, central support of up to ₹2.50 lakh crore has been set aside. Eligible families in Odisha get a part of this money through the state and local bodies, which makes it easier for them to arrange a pucca house.
The scheme also gives attention to the housing needs of widows, single women, senior citizens, transgenders, persons with disabilities, sanitation workers, street vendors and workers covered under other central schemes. Slum and chawl residents are covered too. In October 2026, Odisha launched the PMAY-Urban BANDHU scheme to give affordable rental housing to migrant workers and low-income families, with 50 acres a year and ₹120 crore earmarked for it. For rural families, PMAY-Gramin gives instalment based support along with toilet and electricity linkage, so a household gets a complete house instead of only a room. Checking the name online saves a trip to the block or municipal office, and the status can be tracked from home.
Salient Features
The urban mission is carried out through four parts, which are Beneficiary Led Construction, Affordable Housing in Partnership, Affordable Rental Housing and Interest Subsidy Scheme. In Beneficiary Led Construction, a family with its own land can build a pucca house with a carpet area of at least 30 square meters. Under Affordable Housing in Partnership, agencies build affordable flats for eligible families, and the rental part covers urban migrants, working women and industrial workers.
The Interest Subsidy Scheme gives a subsidy on home loans sanctioned on or after 1 September 2024 for EWS, LIG and MIG families. Across the country, more than 1.25 crore houses have been sanctioned under PMAY-Urban and PMAY-U 2.0, and more than one crore houses have been completed as of August 2026.
Documents Required
Keep the following papers ready in scanned form before starting the application or checking the list. Missing documents are the most common reason for a name not appearing in the list.
- Aadhaar card of the applicant and the family members.
- Ration card copies with a valid proof of residency in Odisha.
- Bank account passbook details for the instalment or subsidy payment.
- Income certificate that shows the yearly income of the family.
- Passport size photograph and an active mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
Who Can Apply
The rules for the urban and rural lists are similar on the housing point but differ on income limits. A family must not own a pucca house anywhere in the country to qualify. Applicants who have taken benefit from any central, state or local housing scheme in the last 20 years are not eligible for PMAY-U 2.0.
- Families in urban areas with yearly income up to ₹3 lakh fall in the EWS group, up to ₹6 lakh in LIG and up to ₹9 lakh in MIG.
- Families living in villages are covered under PMAY-Gramin as per the SECC and Awaas+ list.
- A beneficiary family means husband, wife and unmarried children, and no member should own a pucca house.
