Rajasthan government launched Jan Soochna Portal at jansoochna.rajasthan.gov.in on 13 September 2019 to give every citizen the details of all welfare schemes and services of the state in one place. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launched this new Jan Soochna Portal at a function held at Birla Auditorium. The website was built under Rajasthan Innovation Mission (RAJIV) and it makes it easy to find information about all the government schemes running in the state.

On Rajasthan Jan Soochna Portal, the state government itself provides all information without anyone asking for it. Earlier people had to file a letter under Section 4(2) of the Right to Information Act 2005 to get any kind of information, and then the information had to be updated within 120 days, which rarely happened. To make life easier for the citizens of the state, the government started this Jan Soochna Portal.

Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) officials have released new rules for medical prescriptions. From August 31, 2026, an empanelled doctor must personally check and sign every prescription. No other staff member or junior resident can sign these documents for the doctor.
