Bihar government's Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana (MMRY) is accepting online applications from urban women through the dedicated MMRY application portal. The scheme offers ₹10,000 support to every eligible woman, and the first phase payment has already reached more than 1.21 crore women in the state.
Women who are already members of an urban JEEViKA self help group (SHG) do not need to fill the online form. The area level organization (ALO) or community resource person (CRP) submits their applications together during an SHG meeting. Women who are not SHG members can apply directly on the portal. The offline form and its guidelines are covered in the MMRY form PDF guide.
Online Application Process on mmry.brlps.in
The online application for Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana takes only a few minutes and can be done from any phone with internet. Follow the steps given below.
STEP 1 - Open the MMRY urban application page at mmryurban.brlps.in/mmryurban/. The main portal mmry.brlps.in also links to this page through the 'आवेदन करें' option. If mmry.brlps.in is not opening, use the urban page directly because it carries the same apply links.

STEP 2 - The next page shows the heading 'मुख्यमंत्री महिला रोजगार योजना (शहरी) का लाभ लेने हेतु यहाँ क्लिक करें'. Click any of the four links below this heading. All four links open the same self registration form.

STEP 3 - On the next page, the form asks 'क्या आप स्वंय सहायता समूह की सदस्य हैं?' (Are you an SHG member?). Select 'नहीं' (No) if you are not a member of an SHG. SHG members should not fill this form and should apply through their ALO or CRP instead.

STEP 4 - The self declaration form opens after this. Enter the Aadhaar number, name exactly as written on Aadhaar, father's or husband's name, and the Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

STEP 5 - Click the 'Send OT P' button after filling in the details. Enter the OTP received on the mobile, complete the remaining personal and bank details carefully, and submit the form.
STEP 6 - The portal shows an application number after submission. Note it down and keep it safe for future reference.

Application Status Check
The main portal does not have a clear option to check application status yet. The status may be sent by SMS on the registered mobile number. Payment status can also be checked through the PFMS website using bank account details, or by updating the bank passbook. The full steps are given in the Mahila Rojgar Yojana payment status guide. The installment payment list also helps in checking whether the amount has been sent.
JEEViKA Membership and Verification
After the application is submitted, JEEViKA checks the details and then registers the woman as a member of a self help group. The MMRY application is approved only after this membership is complete. For urban women, the ALO or CRP helps with this process.
