Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana 2026 Online Apply, Login & Status - Solar Scheme Odisha

Odisha government is accepting Soura Jalanidhi Yojana online application form at the official website odishasolarpump.nic.in. Farmers can apply for agriculture solar pumps at up to 90% subsidized rates by filling the DBT Jalanidhi Scheme online registration form on the Odisha Solar Pump portal.

Soura Jalanidhi scheme was launched by former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 30 November 2018 to increase the use of solar energy in agriculture and to help farmers. The state government planned to supply 5,000 solar-powered agricultural pumps to farmers under Sourajalanidhi Scheme and to reduce the state burden on subsidy.

Soura Jalanidhi scheme promotes the use of green energy, reduces pollution and makes sure that farmers have enough electricity for farming activities. The scheme was launched for the overall development of villages and agriculture and to irrigate an additional 2500 acres of land in the state. In the first phase, farmers of the un-served and underserved areas were given the facility and later it was implemented across the state.

Odisha Solar Pump Scheme Online Application / Registration Form

Odisha government has started Soura Jalanidhi program under which solar pumps are given to farmers with up to 90% subsidy. Below is the complete procedure to apply online for Soura Jalanidhi scheme:

STEP 1 - Visit the official website of Sourajalanidhi Scheme at odishasolarpump.nic.in

STEP 2 - At the homepage, click on the "Apply Online" link or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/applyonline to apply online at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

STEP 3 - Upon clicking the link, the page to apply online for Odisha Sourajalanidhi scheme will appear as shown below:

STEP 4 - Applicants must visit the Sugam Portal for online application of Saura JalNidhi at sugam.odisha.gov.in. The homepage of the Sugam Portal will look like below.

STEP 5 - Here click on the "Apply" button to open the login form, then click on the online registration form.

STEP 6 - Enter the correct information in the online registration form and click on the "Register" button to complete the registration and proceed to the Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana online application form.

STEP 7 - After successful registration, login into the portal using the login form and find the scheme named "Subsidy for Installation of Solar Pumps on Farm Lands" under the Agriculture section. This scheme is also named "Soura Jalanidhi Scheme of Agriculture Department" on the portal.

STEP 8 - Click on the "Apply" button to open the Solar Pump Scheme online application form, fill all the details correctly and upload the required documents.

Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme - Go Ahead Generation

STEP 1 - Visit the official website of Soura Jalanidhi Scheme at odishasolarpump.nic.in

STEP 2 - At the homepage, click on the "Go Ahead Generation" link or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/pumpdetails to generate go ahead at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

STEP 3 - Then the page to make Pump Details Entry at the odishasolarpump.nic.in portal will appear as shown below:

STEP 4 - Enter the details like application number, pump type, vendor name and model. Then the total cost, govt. share and farmer share information will get displayed on the screen. Click on the "Next" button for Go Ahead Generation at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

Note that the DBT-Jalanidhi Go-ahead page was closed permanently from 01 July 2025 in view of the monsoon and closure of the scheme. Farmers should check the official portal for the latest update on the go-ahead and payment process.

STEP 4 - Here applicants can enter the Go Ahead Number and click on the "Search" button to make payment for Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme.

From 1 June 2025, the use of e-RUPI has become mandatory for the purchase of pump sets and PP equipment through onboarded dealers. Farmers should buy the pump only from the onboarded dealers whose names are shown on the portal for permit generation.

STEP 2 - At the homepage, scroll over the "Report" link and then click on "Check Status" or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/checkstatus for checking status at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

STEP 3 - Then the page for making Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme Status Check will appear as below:

STEP 4 - Here applicants can enter the Application Number and click on the "Search" button to search the status for Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme.

Need for Agriculture Solar Water Pump Scheme

This agriculture water pump scheme will benefit farmers as they would be able to irrigate their crops during the day time. With an increase in electricity demand, the shift of agricultural load to solar energy will save investment on costly thermal power. This scheme will lessen the cost burden of farmers and will also increase farm incomes.

All the small and marginal farmers having a valid farmer ID with a minimum 0.5 acre cultivable land holding and a dug well will be covered under the Soura Jalanidhi program. Around 5,000 solar water pumps will be given to the farmers of Odisha which will create an irrigation potential of an additional 2500 acres in the state. The scheme was launched on 30 November 2018.

This DBT Jalanidhi Scheme will promote the use of solar photo voltaic pump sets and will reduce the carbon footprint in the state. The execution is carried out as per the operational rules of OREDA based on the online application and deposit or transfer of the farmer share as per the go-ahead intimation.
