MahaBOCW Construction Worker Online Registration Process
Below is the complete process to register with the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board:-
STEP 1: Visit the official website at https://mahabocw.in/.
STEP 2: On the homepage, click the "Workers Registration" link under the "Workers" section in the main menu, as shown below.

STEP 3: The direct link https://mahabocw.in/en/workers-registration/ opens the Maharashtra construction workers registration form.
STEP 4: Check your eligibility criteria and the list of documents, then proceed to register online with the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

STEP 5: Now enter your Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number (linked with Aadhaar) in the form, as shown below, and click the "Proceed to Form" button.

STEP 6: After this, fill in the MahaBOCW construction workers online application form to get registered with the board. The online registration form looks like below.

Latest Updates
The board has waived the registration and renewal fee for construction workers. Earlier, a nominal registration fee and annual subscription were charged from workers. As per the official notice dated 13 August 2025, no registration or renewal fee is taken from workers now.
Appointment dates for registration, renewal and claim have been extended till 31 December 2026. Workers should use the new 90-day work certificate format available on the official website for registration and renewal.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra Construction Labourers Registration
All the applicant workers must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for Maharashtra Construction Workers Registration:-
- A worker should be between 18 to 60 years of age. Workers above 60 years cannot make a new registration with the board.
- A worker must be working for more than 90 days in the last 12 months. The 90-day work certificate in the new format should be submitted along with the application.

To get registered with the board, Form-V has to be filled and submitted along with the following documents.

Background for Construction Workers Registration in Maharashtra
- According to 2001 census, there were about 14.09 lakh construction workers in the state. Official statistics are not released yet. Considering the population increase of 15.99% as per the 2011 census, construction workers are expected to be around 17.50 lakh.
- At the end of November 2016, 5.62 lakh construction workers were registered with the board and 2.99 lakh registrations were valid then.
- According to Maharashtra Economic Survey 2015-16, about 1.02 lakh construction establishments exist in the state.
- The autonomous tripartite board was established on 01.05.2011 and on 03.11.2011 a notification was issued for minor contribution from the beneficiaries.
- After this, the registration process for workers was started through the labour commissioner's office.
