Assam Employment Exchange Portal Online Registration
Here is the complete process to make Assam Employment Exchange Portal online registration:-
STEP 1: Visit the official Assam Employment Exchange Portal at employment.assam.gov.in. The portal now directs job seekers to the Sewa Setu service for registration.

STEP 2: On the Sewa Setu portal, open the "Registration of Employment Seeker in Employment Exchange" service and choose the Aadhaar based or non-Aadhaar based option.
STEP 3: For Aadhaar based registration, click at "Apply with Aadhaar" and enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number. An OTP is sent to the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar for e-KYC verification.

STEP 4: The system fetches the name, date of birth and address from the Aadhaar database. Enter the educational qualifications and other required details manually.

STEP 5: Upload the required documents and submit the application. After verification, the Employment Exchange Card (X-10) is issued and sent to the registered email.

Guidelines for Aadhaar Based Registration
All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam can register for the Employment Exchange of the state. Candidates can apply to only one employment exchange within the district where they are permanent residents. Applicants who are already employed and seeking better employment have to register only after producing a No Objection Certificate from the employer.
All text boxes with an asterisk (*) symbol are required to be filled. Educational certificates and mark sheets should be scanned in chronological order from the lowest to the highest level and uploaded as a single PDF. After the application is successfully submitted, the Employment Exchange Card (X-10) is issued to the registered email.
Every registrant has to renew the registration once in 3 years in the due month shown on the registration card. A grace period of 3 months is given for renewal. If the registration is not renewed even after the grace period, it is canceled and the name is removed from the Live Register.
Online Renewal and Re-Registration
Renewal and re-registration are done through the same process as fresh registration on the portal.

Assam Employment Exchange Offline Registration (Non-Aadhaar Based)
Job seekers who do not have an Aadhaar card can do the non-Aadhaar based registration. Candidates below the age of 18 years have to submit an undertaking from parents or legal guardians for the consent and sharing of personal data.

Once a candidate completes the required information in the form, an acknowledgement receipt is issued with the date and time for physical verification of the original documents.
