Punjab Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana Beneficiary / Hospital List: Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana 2024 has been launched by the Punjab government. AB-SSBY is providing financial protection to 75% population of state of Punjab. Sarbat Sehat Bima Scheme is entitlement based cashless health insurance cover of Rs. 5 Lakh per family per year. The cost of premium for 14.86 lakh SECC beneficiary families shall be borne by Central Govt. and State Govt. in 60:40 ratio. The premium cost of remaining 31.03 lakh beneficiary families shall be completely borne by the State (State Treasury & Departments).

Punjab Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana 2024 Details

The Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana was announced by the Chief Minister of Punjab. The main motive through the implementation of the scheme is to provide cashless treatment to all of the residents of Punjab state. The paperless treatment will be provided to the poor people of the state so that they can go to the hospital for their checkup and also undergo surgeries without any financial worries. Also, yearly incentives are provided under the scheme.

STEP 5: Here applicants can enter the Ration Card Number / PAN Number / Registration ID / Farmer or Journalist ID as per the search criteria. Moreover, Ration Card category people can even perform AB-SSBY beneficiary search by name.

Beneficiary Search Criteria (ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ)

A) Ration Card Holder – If your ration card no is like ‘FAZ1234567’ then replace FAZ with 03000 and search with ‘030001234567’, if it is like MNS9809898 then replace MNS with 03000 and search with 030009809898.If your ration card is old, contact your local depot holder for new smart ration card number.

B) Farmer (j_form holder) – Search ID will be First Three Character of District Name + last 6 digit of aadhaar + first four character of your name. For example: if your name is Mohan from District Hoshiarpur with last 6 digit of aadhaar as 123456, then search id will be like: HOS123456MOHA

C) Construction Worker – Search ID will be the registration id issued by BOCWB, Punjab.

D) Small Trader – Search ID will be the PAN card number

D) Yellow Card and Accredited Journalist – Search ID will be First Three Character of District Name + last 6 digit of aadhaar with hypen after 3 digit + first four character of your name. For example: if your name is Harwinder from District Jalandhar with last 6 digit of aadhaar as 123456 with hypen (-) in between, then search ID would be: JAL123-456HARW

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana

The common eligibility criteria to avail the benefit of the Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana in Punjab is given below:-

• The applicant must be a resident of Punjab state
• The applicant must belong to the categories mentioned above.
• Applicant must belong to below the poverty line category.
• The applicant must hold a ration card.

Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana Registration Process

There is no registration process for the beneficiaries. The selected list has been prepared by the concerned authorities on the basis of the people who are below the poverty line and some of the ration card holders and also as per the different categories of the beneficiary which is mentioned above.

Punjab govt. has also gave a minimum target of generation of at least 10,000 e-cards per day to the agency. Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna is a flagship health insurance programme of the state. Punjab Govt. to Cover 8.5 Lakh Farming Families in Health Insurance Scheme

Punjab government has decided to bring around 8.5 lakh farmers and their families under health insurance cover for the year 2021-22. All the farmers having “J” forms and “sugarcane weighment slips” would be eligible for this health scheme. “J” forms are needed for availing finance, subsidy claims and tax waivers. To facilitate the farmers to apply for this scheme in the easiest way, the Punjab Mandi Board has launched a dedicated portal for first time from this year.

Farmers Families Apply Online for Ayushman Bharat SSBY in Punjab

Now, the farmers need not to visit market committee office to apply manually as was the case earlier. The interested farmers can simply apply on Mandi Board’s portal, https://www.emandikaran-pb.in/, uploading related documents. Punjab Mandi Board would pay the entire premium for the insurance cover of all the farmers, who will get cashless treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. All these farmers and their families will now be covered with effect from 20 August 2021. The number of farmers covered under the health insurance scheme during the last year of the scheme stood at around 5.01 lakh based on “J” forms and “Sugarcane weighment slips”.

Now, the number of farmers has reached nearly 8.5 lakh, with 7.91 lakh farmers having “J” forms registered with the Mandi Board and 55,000 cane growers. Around 5.01 lakh farmers, who have already been registered under the Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana last year, need not re-apply on portal. They will be extended the benefit for the next year based on earlier documents, but remaining nearly 3.5 lakh farmers registered as ‘J’ form holders and ‘sugarcane weighment slips’ after October 1, 2020, would have to apply on portal for availing health Insurance. The Market Committees have also been directed to facilitate every farmer, in case he needs any help to avail this cashless treatment facility in a seamless manner.

Health Facilities for Farmers at Empanelled Hospitals

Eligible farmers can apply online on portal to avail the health facilities from empanelled hospitals from 20 August 2021. Apart from the family head, husband/wife, father/mother, unmarried children, divorced daughter and her minor children, widowed daughter-in-law and her minor children would also be considered eligible to derive benefit under the scheme.

These farmers can approach any of the 642 empanelled private hospitals and 208 government hospitals for treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh for 1,579 diseases. Under the health insurance scheme, medical conditions including major surgical treatments such as heart surgery, cancer treatment, joint replacement and accident cases, among others are covered.

Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana for Farmers

Punjab Mandi Board has started Ayushman Bharat – Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana for all farmers of the state. This AB-SSBY is a state specific health insurance scheme in which farmers can avail cashless treatment of Rs. 5 lakh. Already registered farmers should contact the market committee offices for the following purposes:-

• Verification of names of farmers.
• To get e-cards.
• To get names of family members added.
• Information regarding government hospitals.
• Information regarding private hospitals.
