The new session of Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana 2026-27 started on 1 July 2026. Applications for the new session were invited from 8 to 31 May 2026, and the entrance test was held between 5 and 15 June 2026. The scheme is running across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh and gives free coaching to students from poor families who cannot afford private coaching.

All those students who wish to prepare for competitive examinations can apply online for UP Muft Coaching Yojana. STEP 1 - Go to the official Abhyudaya portal at https://abhyudayup.in/ and click on the 'Student Registration' option in the top menu.
STEP 2 - On the student registration page, enter your first name, middle name, last name, father name, email, mobile number, gender, date of birth, qualification, passing year, Aadhaar number, district and select the course you want to prepare for.
STEP 3 - Select the course from the options like UPSC/UPPCS, NEET, IIT-JEE, NDA-CDS or Others. Then set a password and confirm it.

Eligibility for Abhyudaya Yojana Coaching
Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the free coaching under Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana. The eligibility depends on the course selected by the student. Below are the main eligibility points:-
- For JEE and NEET, students studying in class 11 and 12 or those who have passed the science stream are eligible.
- For IAS and PCS training, students in the final year of graduation or those who have passed graduation are eligible.

Objectives of UP Abhyudaya Free Coaching Scheme
The objective of the UP Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana is to provide free coaching of good quality to students belonging to economically disadvantaged sections of the society. This free coaching scheme would enable such poor students to appear in competitive examinations. The main focus would be on students to enable them to obtain an appropriate job in Public/Private Sector.
The scheme is run by the Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh. More than 500 IAS officers, 450 IPS officers, 300 IFS officers and many subject experts are linked with the portal. Around 2000 teachers guide the students, and more than 400 students have been selected in different posts so far. In UPSC 2023, 23 students and in UPPSC 2023, 30 students were selected. In JEE Mains 2024, 35 students were selected.
