Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Mandal is running Vivah Sahayata Yojana in 2026, giving ₹15,000 one-time cash benefit for the marriage of a worker's daughter or for a female worker's own marriage. Applications keep running through the year, and the money reaches the applicant's bank account by DBT payment, usually within 30 working days of approval.

Workers employed in factories and establishments covered under Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Nidhi Adhiniyam, 1982 can apply. One important point many people miss. This benefit can be taken for up to two daughters of the same worker, but a separate application is required for each marriage.

Vivah Sahayata Yojana Details

Scheme is run by Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Mandal under the Labour Department. Money help of ₹15,000 is given per marriage. It covers the marriage of a daughter who is 18 years or above, and also the marriage of a woman worker herself. Idea is simple. Wedding costs hit a worker's family hard, so this fixed amount takes off some of that load.

Scheme applies only where the establishment pays its regular contribution (abhidaay) to the Mandal. If the employer has stopped paying, the worker's application will not go through. Employer signature and office seal on the form are required, and for contract workers, both the contractor and the principal employer have to verify the form.

Apply Process for Vivah Sahayata Yojana

Process is partly online. Form and scheme details can be checked online, but the filled form with documents has to be handed over at a Lok Seva Kendra, MPOnline kiosk or CSC, and a physical set also goes to the Labour Welfare Centre or regional office. Steps are given below.

STEP 1 - Open the Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Mandal portal and check the scheme section for Vivah Sahayata Yojana rules, so that you know the current conditions before filling anything.

STEP 2 - Download the prescribed Vivah Sahayata Yojana application form PDF and take a clear printout. A blank form can also be collected from the regional office or Labour Welfare Centre.

STEP 3 - Fill every column in the form correctly, paste a recent passport size photo, and get the form signed by your employer or manager with the official seal. Contract workers need signatures of the contractor as well as the principal employer.

STEP 4 - Attach self attested copies of all required documents along with the original marriage invitation card, then submit the set at your nearest Lok Seva Kendra, MPOnline kiosk or CSC. Staff will enter your application online and give an acknowledgement receipt. Keep that receipt safe.

STEP 5 - Submit the physical copy of the form with documents at the Labour Welfare Centre or the regional office of the Mandal as well, because online entry alone is not treated as complete.

STEP 6 - Wait for the checking process by the concerned officer. Once the application is approved, ₹15,000 goes straight to the bank account written in the form, normally inside 30 working days.

Apply Dates and Deadline

Timing matters a lot in this scheme. As per the current rules, the application has to be submitted between 15 days before the marriage date and one day before the marriage. Incomplete forms are rejected outright, so check every column and every attachment before handing over the papers. If your marriage date is close, do not wait for the card printing to finish, get the form ready in advance.

Who Can Apply

Conditions are fixed and the office checks them strictly. Read them once before spending time on the form.

  • Applicant should be a worker in an industrial establishment or factory covered under Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Nidhi Adhiniyam, 1982.
  • Establishment must be paying its regular contribution to Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Mandal, and the worker must still be working there on the date of application.
  • Worker must have completed at least one year of continuous service in the same establishment.
  • Bride must be the worker's daughter, or the woman worker herself, and she must be 18 years or above on the marriage date.
  • Money help for the same marriage must not have been taken from any other government department or scheme.

Papers should be arranged in the same order as asked in the form. Missing any one of these is the most common reason for rejection.

  • Filled application form in the prescribed format, signed by the applicant and the employer or manager with official seal

  • Age proof of the bride, such as a self attested copy of the class 8th or 10th marksheet

Complaint Help and Appeal

If the application is rejected or nothing moves within the time limit, an appeal can be filed. First appeal goes to the Assistant Welfare Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Mandal, Bhopal, with a 30 working day resolution time. If the reply is still not satisfying, a second appeal goes to the Welfare Commissioner at the same office. Appeals can also be filed under the Lok Seva Guarantee system.

For direct queries, the Mandal office is at 83, Malviya Nagar, Bhopal 462003. Help numbers are 0755 2572753 and 0755 2762978, and the email is mplabourwelfareactivity@gmail.com. Workers can also report an unregistered factory or establishment on the labour helpline number 18002338888.

Other Marriage Support Schemes in Madhya Pradesh

This is not the only marriage related support in the state. Families who are not covered under the Labour Welfare Fund can check Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, which gives ₹55,000 for the marriage of a girl from a poor family. Parents of a girl child can also see Ladli Laxmi Yojana for long term study and money support.
