Every selected applicant can get financial support of up to rupees 25,000 to grow a small business. The money is sent directly to the bank account of the selected person through e transfer.

Exclusions

An applicant is not eligible for this scheme if any of the following applies:

1. the applicant is a member of any government or semi-government board or authority.
2. the applicant is an active member of a Panchayati Raj Institution or a Selection Committee.
3. the applicant is a permanent salaried staff member of a tea garden.
4. the applicant has already received this specific financial support within the last 3 years.

Application Process

Eligible people should follow these steps to submit an application online:

STEP 1 - Visit the official Tea Tribes Welfare Department scheme page and follow the link to the SIRISH application portal. Register as a new user or log in if an account already exists. Once on the dashboard, select this scheme from the menu.

STEP 2 - Fill in personal and location details, such as District, assembly constituency, and sub-division. Make sure all information is accurate before clicking the Save Form Details button.

STEP 3 - Upload the documents in the required formats. Make sure photos are under 50 KB and other documents are under 100 KB.

STEP 4 - Enter the correct bank account number, bank name, branch, and IFSC code. Click Save Bank Details to finalize this section.

STEP 5 - Review the application using the preview feature. After checking everything twice, click Proceed with Submit Application. Save the application number to track the status later.
