Strengthening Skills, Arts and Employment through ITIs Details
Vimukt, Ghumantu and Ardh Ghumantu Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh runs this scheme. This department was formed by a notification dated 22 June 2011, and 51 communities of the state, 21 De-notified and 30 Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic, come under it. Most families of these communities still earn from old family trades, and this training helps them use modern tools in the same work.
Training is short-term and job-linked. Someone doing rope work, metal work, weaving or repair work at home can learn the machine-based version of the same job at a nearby ITI. After the course, the department also gives help for a job or for starting small self-employment work under its self-employment scheme.

Applications for this scheme are taken online through the Samarth portal of the department. Keep scanned documents and a working mobile number ready before you start, because the form asks for uploads at the last stage.
STEP 1 - Open the official portal at Samarth Portal and go to the registration link given on the home page.
STEP 2 - Fill your name, Samagra ID, Aadhaar number, mobile number and address in the registration form, then verify the OTP that comes on your phone to create the login.
STEP 3 - Log in with the same user ID and password, then open the scheme list and pick the ITI skill and art training scheme from the economic development section.
STEP 4 - Fill your education details and the trade or course you want, and choose the ITI near your district from the list shown.
STEP 5 - Upload the caste certificate, domicile, Aadhaar, photo and bank passbook copy, check every entry once, and submit the form. Note down the application number that comes on the screen, it is needed for status check later.
Offline help is also there. If the online form gives trouble, visit the district office of the Vimukt, Ghumantu and Ardh Ghumantu Welfare Department or the nearest government ITI and ask the staff to help with the form.
