Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati / Anusuchit Janjati Udyami Yojana is a Bihar government scheme that supports entrepreneurship among Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) residents. Eligible people can get financial support of up to ₹10,00,000 to start their own business.

The scheme runs as an SC/ST component of Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana (MMUY), handled by the Department of Industries, Bihar. Since 2024, applications for this scheme go through the common portal at udyami.bihar.gov.in, and the 2026 application rounds are already under selection. Online applications for the 2026 cycle opened on 25 February 2026 and closed on 15 March 2026, with a short extension till 23 March 2026 in some cases.

Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati - Anusuchit Janjati Udyami Yojana - Introduction

Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati / Anusuchit Janjati Udyami Yojana serves as a key part of Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana, launched by the Department of Industries, Bihar. The scheme focuses on helping SC and ST citizens turn their business ideas into working enterprises by providing the capital and training they need.

Selected entrepreneurs receive total support of up to ₹10,00,000 to set up a new manufacturing, trading or service unit. Out of this amount, ₹5,00,000 is given as a non-repayable grant and the remaining ₹5,00,000 is provided as an interest-free loan. This support encourages local economic growth and builds self-reliance among SC and ST families across the state.

Applicants no longer use the old startup.bihar.gov.in portal. The Department of Industries has merged the SC/ST, EBC and general categories under one common application system at udyami.bihar.gov.in, so all new applications for this scheme must be submitted there.
