Madhya Pradesh government is running Mukhya Mantri Seekho Kamao Yojana for young people aged 18 to 29 years, and candidate registration on the MMSKY portal is open through the year. Trainees get on-the-job training at a registered company and a monthly stipend between ₹8,000 and ₹10,000, out of which 75 percent comes from the state government by DBT payment and 25 percent from the company.

As per portal data in 2026, over 4.82 lakh candidates and about 22,880 establishments have registered so far, and more than 19,400 trainees have completed their training. Revised scheme rules were issued by the Directorate of Skill Development through letter number 339-340 dated 10 June 2026, so applicants should read the latest rules before applying.

Mukhya Mantri Seekho Kamao Yojana Online Registration 2026

Registration is done only online on the MMSKY portal. Samagra ID is the base for identification, so keep the mobile number linked with Samagra active for OTP. There is no application fee.

STEP 1 - Open the official portal at mmsky.mp.gov.in and click on the 'Candidate Registration' option on the homepage. Read the instructions and the eligibility list shown on that page before moving ahead.

STEP 2 - Enter your Samagra ID in the box, then verify your mobile number using the OTP that comes to the number registered with Samagra. Your basic details will load automatically from the Samagra database.

STEP 3 - Submit the form. A username and password will come by SMS and the portal logs you in on its own. Save that registration number and password for later use.

STEP 4 - Log in and fill your educational qualification, then upload the marksheets and other documents. Courses matching your qualification will show up on the screen.

STEP 5 - Pick the course and the district or place where you want to do the training, then apply against the vacancies posted by companies. After a company selects you, an online agreement is signed between you, the company and the state government, and training starts after that.

New Changes in 2026

Revised scheme rules dated 10 June 2026 have been uploaded on the portal, and trainees as well as companies should go through them once. Attendance is now marked on the MMSKY mobile app with face authentication, so every trainee has to register their face first before marking attendance. If the face does not match, it can be reset from the OJT authorised person login.

Attendance and payroll modules are live on the portal, and companies have to update attendance and create payroll for joined trainees, otherwise stipend payment gets stuck. Directorate has also started removing inactive profiles, which covers candidates who registered but never completed the profile or never applied for any vacancy, and companies who never posted a vacancy. So if you registered earlier and left it midway, log in and complete the profile to keep the account alive. A panel list of Third Party Aggregators as on 18 May 2026 is also published on the portal, and the portal itself is being moved to the SDC 2.0 cloud setup.

Benefits for Trainees

Training is industry based, so the work is done on real machines and real processes at the company. Along with the monthly stipend, trainees get SCVT certification from Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board after finishing the course, which helps in getting regular work later. Around 2,915 certificates have already been issued as per portal figures. Provident fund, bonus and Industrial Disputes Act rules do not apply to student-trainees, since this is a training arrangement and not a job.

Youth looking at other state options can also check free ITI training in Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board internship policy for related training and stipend support.
