Benefits
Eligible couples receive a one time financial support of ₹2,00,000 to help them settle into their new married life. This amount is credited to the joint account of the couple in instalments after the field verification is done successfully.
If a married person has already got benefit under the simple marriage incentive, that person can still receive ₹1,50,000 under this scheme. The money is paid only to those who submit their application within one year of the marriage.
