ahara.karnataka.gov.in Ration Card Status: Facility of checking ration card status for 2026 at ahara.karnataka.gov.in (Earlier ahara.kar.nic.in) has been started by the Karnataka state government. Karnataka residents can easily check their ration card status online for the three different applications as following.

Application Status of New or Existing Ration Card

If you have applied for the new ration card in Karnataka, you can check the status using below process.

STEP 1: Visit the official Ahara Karnataka website to start the process of checking the status.

STEP 2: Click on the E-Services link and then under e-Status section, click "New/Existing RC Status Request", then choose your region from Bangalore, Mysore or Kalaburagi as shown in below image.

STEP 3: Select your area from Urban or Rural and enter the application acknowledgement number given at the time of applying for ration card and click Go.

STEP 4: Latest ration card status of your new application will be displayed.

Karnataka Ration Card Amendment Status

If you have applied for a change or any updates in details to your ration card, follow these steps to check its status:

STEP 1: Visit the official Ahara Karnataka website to check status for any amendment application.

STEP 2: Once on the same e-services link, click on the option "Amendment Requests Status", then select your region

STEP 3: A new page will appear, asking you to enter both your ration card number and your acknowledgement number.

STEP 4: Click on the "Go" button to finish the process and view the amendment status.
