Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) launched the Langera Housing Scheme 2025 in Barmer district to provide affordable houses for families in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower Income Group (LIG) categories. This scheme was registered under RERA No. RAJ/P/2025/4145 as part of the board's special registration schemes for 2025.
Scheme has been closed or it was a one time scheme which has been closed by the government.
Applications for Langera Housing Scheme were accepted between 20 August 2025 and 20 September 2025 through the RHB website. After the last date, the board published the online and offline applicant deposit lists on its official portal. Any further update about the provisional list, final list, and allotment lottery will be shared on the RHB website.

Flats Available
According to the scheme booklet, the following units were offered in Langera, Barmer:
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 80 flats, around ₹8.61 lakh each. Annual family income up to ₹3 lakh.
- LIG (Lower Income Group): 120 flats, around ₹16.30 lakh each. Annual family income between ₹3.01 lakh and ₹6 lakh.
All units are planned as one-bedroom flats with proper facilities and infrastructure such as kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and lobby.

Langera Housing Scheme followed this timetable:

- After the last date, RHB published a provisional list of eligible applicants.

Application Process
All applications were submitted online through the RHB portal and the registration fee was paid online. Main points of the application process are given below.
- Online Application Form: Applications could only be submitted online through the official RHB website at rhb.rajasthan.gov.in. The registration fee had to be paid online while filling the form.
- Registration Fee: EWS applicants paid ₹7,070 plus processing and GST charges. LIG applicants paid ₹15,150 plus processing and GST charges.
- Mode of Payment: Payment could be made online through internet banking, debit card, or UPI. Offline challan payment was also possible at IDFC First Bank (Kasturi Plaza, Jodhpur).
- Reservation Categories: Certain flats were reserved for government employees, SC, ST, OBC, military personnel, freedom fighters, and other special categories as per rules. Applicants claiming reservation had to upload valid certificates with the application form.
- Allotment Process: Allotment was planned through a lottery draw among eligible applicants. After the draw, successful applicants will need to pay the allotment amount as per the schedule.
- Advance Payment: EWS applicants had to pay ₹15,000 in three installments before allotment. LIG applicants had to pay ₹30,000 in three installments before allotment.
- Payment Structure: Allotted flats need 45% payment as down payment and the remaining 55% through loan or EMI option. Delay in installment payments attracts penalties as per rules.
Registration Eligibility
Applicants had to meet the following conditions to register for the scheme:
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen aged 18 years or above on the date of application.
- Annual family income should be up to ₹3 lakh for EWS and between ₹3.01 lakh and ₹6 lakh for LIG.
- Even an applicant who was allotted a house earlier by RHB or bought a house from another source could apply as per the scheme rules.
- PAN card is required and Aadhaar card details should be given if available.
- Applicants claiming reservation must submit valid caste, service, or disability certificates.
