STEP 2 - You will reach on the MahaSSO login page as seen in below image. Select 'Maha ID' or 'Aadhaar' and type it in the box below.
STEP 3 - Click the Login button. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with your MahaID.
STEP 4 - Type the OTP in the box and click 'Verify OTP'. Click 'Resend OTP' after 2 minutes if the OTP message does not reach you in time.
STEP 5 - Next page is the DigiLocker screen. Clicking 'Fetch from Digi-Locker' sends you to the Meri Pehchaan sign in page and pulls your 10th percentage, 12th percentage and driving license number into your profile. Clicking 'Skip for Now' takes you ahead without fetching anything, and you can do it later. This is only a one time process.
STEP 6 - My Information page opens and your login is done. Every detail here carries a Verified tag and the name of the department it came from, such as AADHAAR against your name, date of birth, gender and address.

Download MahaSarathi Card after login
Profile page has a Quick Action box on the left side with two buttons, 'View MahaSarathi Card' and 'Download Ration Card Details'. You can download your MahaSarathi card using this button in PDF format. Your Maharashtra ration card details come from the food department record linked to your ID.

Login not working? Raise a support ticket
A wrong OTP, an old mobile number in Aadhaar, or a MahaID that is still being generated are the usual reasons login fails. MahaID creation takes up to 24 hours after registration, so wait for the SMS before trying. For anything else, go to Help on the portal, open the Support tab and click 'Raise Ticket'.
Enter your name, mobile number, district, category, subcategory and a description of up to 500 characters. You can attach a PDF, JPG or PNG file of up to 5 MB. After the captcha and one more OTP check, a ticket ID shows on screen. To see it later, open 'Track/Reopen Ticket', enter the same mobile number with the captcha, verify the OTP, and your ticket list opens with an export option in Excel and PDF.

Can I log in to MahaSarathi with my mobile number?
No. MahaSSO accepts only the MahaID number or the Aadhaar number in the login box. Your mobile number is used only to receive the OTP.
What should I do if the OTP does not come?
Wait for the timer to finish and use the Resend OTP link. If it still does not arrive, your Aadhaar linked mobile number is probably inactive or changed, and you will have to update it at an Aadhaar centre before login works.
Is the DigiLocker step required at login?
No, Skip for Now works fine. Separately, since 17 June 2026 the Mahasarathi Family ID has been available inside DigiLocker under Issued Documents, which nearly 14 crore Maharashtra residents can fetch and store.
Do I need to log in for every scheme separately?
No. My Access tab moves you to other linked state portals without a fresh login, and My Dashboard already shows the schemes running against your MahaID.
