Why List 2 sanctions take longer
Phase 1 went mostly to List 1 families because work could start at once on land they already had. List 2 families need a plot allotted first, so their file moves slower. Around 35,000 unfinished houses across the state are also being completed and handed over, and double bedroom houses built earlier now sit under Indiramma Indlu.
Where sanctions stand now
Phase 1 sanctioned 4.5 lakh houses outside Hyderabad at 3,500 per assembly constituency, and slab work is finished on 85 per cent of them. Phase 2 added 2,000 houses per constituency, which works out to 2.5 lakh houses across Telangana. A four day lottery ended on 31 August 2026 and allotted 7,340 flats across 16 assembly constituencies, 480 in each and 140 in Secunderabad Cantonment, against 60,720 applications. Each 528 sq. ft. flat costs about ₹11 lakh, of which the state pays ₹5 lakh and the family pays ₹6 lakh in stages.

Steps to check Indiramma Illu List 2 Telangana
STEP 1 - Open the official Indiramma Indlu website on your phone or computer.
STEP 2 - On the home page, click on the "Application Search" option.
STEP 3 - Pick one search option and enter it. Aadhaar number, mobile number, application ID and FSC number all work, so use whichever you have handy.
STEP 4 - Check the number once for a typo, then click submit.
STEP 5 - Read the List Type field on the result. It shows List1, List2 or List3, and next to it comes the approved, pending or rejected status. Click View Details for the full record.
