PM Kisan Yojana registration form will remain available at the official website pmkisan.gov.in. The PM Kisan Yojana online application form will appear upon clicking the new farmer registration tab.

Here farmers can enter their details and click at the “Submit” button to apply online for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Now, the farmers in any part of India can directly enroll with a single click at the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

How to Fill PM Kisan Yojana Application Form?

Below is the complete procedure to apply online for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2024:

Step 1 – Firstly visit the official website at https://pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2 – At the homepage, go to the “Farmer’s corner” section.

Step 3 – This section contains “Edit Aadhaar Details, New Farmers Registration & Check Beneficiary Status” option.

Step 4 – The links of editing aadhar details & registration of new farmers is now functional. Click at the “New Farmer Registration” link or directly click https://pmkisan.gov.in/RegistrationFormnew.aspx to make farmers registration.

Step 5 – It will open a page where both rural and urban farmers can make PM Kisan Registration. The PM Kisan Online Registration Form for Rural farmers will appear as shown below:

STEP 6: Similar to this, if you select the Urban checkbox, then PM kisan online application form for urban farmers will appear:

STEP 7: Here candidates can enter their Aadhaar Card number, mobile number, select state, enter image text & click at “Get OTP” button.

STEP 8: Your Aadhaar will be authenticated with UIDAI. You will be able to proceed for registration only if your Aadhaar is authenticated.*  Then Enter Your Personal Details

STEP 9: Applicants can enter complete details and click at “Save” button to complete the online application process.

As of now, the online application process is still undergoing continuously at common service centers.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana e-KYC

eKYC is mandatory for PM kisan registered farmers. OTP based eKYC is available on PM Kisan portal at pmkisan.gov.in or nearest CSC centers may be contacted for bio-metric based eKYC.

Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended. For this purpose, you can visit the official pmkisan.gov.in portal.

At the homepage, you can click at the “eKYC” link present in “Farmers Corner” section.

On the next page, enter your Aadhar number and click “Search” button and then follow the procedure.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana – Installments Update

Reports state that the Central government, under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM KISAN), is planning to double the amount that the farmers receive. If this does happen, farmers will receive  Rs. 12,000 in 3 installments rather than Rs. 6000 each year. So far, more than 8 crore farmer families have profited from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM KISAN) scheme.

At the homepage, farmers can click at “Online Refund” tab present in the upper area of “Farmers Corner” section.

PM Kisan Scheme Rules Changed

To check the rapidly increasing fraud in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana across the nation, the central government recently made changes to the documents required to register for the scheme.

Central government has made it mandatory for the beneficiary to have a ration card to register for the scheme. Besides, the beneficiaries are also supposed to submit a soft copy of the required documents to the portal. Without the said changes, the applicant will not be able to register for the scheme.

To register under PM Kisan Yojana (PM KISAN) and reap the benefits provided by the government under the scheme, the applicant will have to upload their ration card number. Simultaneously, the applicant will also have to upload scanned copies of the required documents, including the Aadhar card, bank passbook, and declaration form. The move is an initial step to end fraudulent activities across the nation and for a smoother and easier registration process.

How Register for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana at CSC?

Farmers can apply online for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from any common service centre (CSC). Firstly farmers will have to visit the nearest CSC. Here the VLE will fill Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana form on the behalf of farmers.

Upon entering details in the PM Kisan Yojana form, VLE will give form to the farmers. It can be verified by the respective patwari or any authorized official of the gram panchayat. Upon approval, farmers will start getting Rs. 6000 per year in their bank accounts.

Fill PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Offline Application Form Easily at CSCs

Till 2022, farmers have to deposit their forms at gram panchayats where the patwaris or other authorized people verify the information. There are many incidents where farmers had to follow up the officials and extend favor to get verification done. Central government has introduced PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana offline registration process at CSCs & online at official website pmkisan.gov.in. Under PM Kisan Scheme, farmers gets Rs. 6,000 p.a through DBT mode in their bank accounts. Central govt. has launched PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana App APK for android mobile phone users. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has started PM Kisan App on first anniversary of govt’s ambitious PM-KISAN Scheme on 24 February 2020. This scheme aims to provide Rs. 6,000 per annum to each eligible farmers. All the new android users can now download PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana App from google play store.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) was firstly launched on 24 February 2019 in Uttar Pradesh. All states are implementing this central sector scheme. In this scheme, each farmer gets 3 equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each every year. Now the central govt. launches PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Mobile App APK Download facility from google play store for android users.

Who are Not Eligible for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Here is the list of farmers, who are not eligible to gain assistance under the scheme. The following categories of beneficiaries of higher economic status shall not be eligible:

• All Institutional Land holders.
• Farmer families which belong to one or more of the following categories:
  • Former and present holders of constitutional posts
  • Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of Lok Sabha/ Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
  • All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries /Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices /Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff /Class IV/Group D employees)
  • All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000/- or more (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) of above category
  • All Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year
  • Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices.

If an ineligible farmer has received the amount under the scheme, there’s an option to refund it. They can visit PM Kisan website and click on ‘Refund option’ and follow the steps to return the amount

PM Kisan Self Registered Farmer Update

Till date, around 11 cr farmers are registered under PM-KISAN Scheme against the target of 14 crore farmers. Payment has been made to around 11 crore farmers so far after data has been verified by the state governments.

To broaden the reach of scheme, govt. has launched PM-KISAN App to realize the target of Doubling Farmers Income by 2022. This app will provide end-to-end technology solution for transferring the benefits directly into the accounts of registered farmers.

The important features and highlights of PM Kisan Scheme 2024 are as follows:-

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2024 is applicable from 1 December 2018. The central govt. also announced relief to farmers who are affected by natural disasters and rewards for those farmers who are repaying their loans on time. Instead of rescheduling of crop loans, farmers who are severely affected by natural calamities will now get 2% interest subvention and additional 3% interest subsidy on timely repayment.

PM KISAN Scheme – Combined Benefits

This income support scheme is based on the lines of Telangana’s Rythu Bandhu Scheme (Rs. 10,000 per annum) and Odisha’s Kalia Scheme (Rs. 10,000 per annum). Both these schemes have achieved immediate success previously. Now these schemes will provide additional (combined) benefits to farmers which are described below:-

• Now in Telangana, farmers will get Rs. 16,000 per year as combination of Rythu Bandhu (10,000 p.a) + PM Kisan Scheme (Rs. 6000 p.a).
• Accordingly, farmers in Odisha would get Rs. 10,000 per year as combination of Kalia Yojana (Rs. 4000 p.a) + PM-KISAN Scheme (Rs. 6000 p.a).

Now the central govt. will provide 2% rebate on loans taken from Kisan Credit Card. Moreover, all those farmers who pays their installments on time will get another rebate of 3% on KCC loans.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Launch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 24 January 2019. At the time of launch of this Income Support Scheme, govt. aims to provide Rs. 6000 per annum to all small and marginal farmers with land holding upto 2 hectares (5 acre). This would have covered 12 crore farmers. But later land holding limit was removed and then 2 crore more beneficiaries were included in this PM Kisan Scheme.
