Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana 2025 online application and payment status checking facility is now live on the official portal at medhasoft.bihar.gov.in. All the new applicants of this scheme can now check their application status and the existing beneficiaries of the scheme can check their payment status online.
Online applications for the scheme have now closed and below are the direct links to check Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana status of application and payment.
Kanya Utthan Yojana Application Status
The new applicants of the scheme can check application status of Kanya Utthan Yojana by following the below process.
STEP 1: Visit the official website of the scheme at medhasoft.bihar.gov.in and click on the View Application Status of Student [Click here to View] link for 12th Class.
Graduate students can click this direct link to check and print their status.
Class 1-10 payment status can be checked at this link by selecting the district, school and beneficiary ID.
STEP 2: Now you will see application status page as below.
STEP 3: Now, applicants can check the application status either by using their Aadhaar Number or Bank Account Number which was given in the application form.
STEP 4: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number, enter the number and click on “Search” button. Applicant’s can also directly check their application status by logging in their account on Kanya Utthan Yojana Portal.
STEP 5: The application status will be displayed on the screen as below.
The application status will have verification status and final status columns. Verification status displays the status of your individual details like name, Aadhar, Bank account, residential status, father etc and final status will display the final application status of Kanya Utthan Yojana.
Final Status: If your final status is “Waiting for Approval by University“, then it means your application details have not yet been reviewed by the university.
The university matches all the details given in the application form with the data it has about the applicant. If all the data is found correct, then the status is set as Approved.
After the status is approved, the applicant’s name is added to the payment list of the scheme.
Check Kanya Utthan Yojana Payment Status
If your application is approved, or your payment has not received in the bank account, you can check your name in the payment list and the status using below process.
STEP 1: Visit the official website payment status link at medhasoft portal and you will see a page like below.
STEP 2: Now select your university/college from the list, enter at least 3 characters of your name (applicant’s name) and the click on “View” button.
STEP 3: The complete payment list of Kanya Utthan Yojana will open like this.
STEP 4: Now you can search your name in the list by using ctrl+F on the desktop and by using find in page option in mobile devices and match your name with the last 3 digits of your Aadhaar number to make sure it is your name.
STEP 5: If your name is present in the list, it means the payment has been done to your bank account. You can also check the status of payment directly by logging in the portal using your userid and password.
Payment not Received?
If your name is present in the list but you have not received the money in your account, there are few things you can do.
- Check if your bank account is DBT enabled, you can visit your bank branch to check this status.
- Check the latest statement of your bank account using the UPI apps, or mobile banking or bank helpline or by directly visiting the branch.
