Yuva nidhi scheme online registration process begins in Karnataka, registered youths to get unemployment allowance every month. A new initiative namely “Yuva Nidhi Yojana” has been launched by Karnataka government. In this scheme, govt. would provide berojgari bhatta to unemployed youths who are either bachelor degree or diploma holder till the time they get a job. The financial assistance in the yuva nidhi scheme would be helpful for youths to search a good job for themselves without worrying about expenses.

To avail the benefits of yuvanidhi scheme, applicant must be registered as unemployed either in the nearby employment exchange (offline) or in state govt’s database of unemployed persons (online).

Yuva Nidhi Yojna Amount 

Under Yuva Nidhi Scheme, unemployment allowance will be given to the youth of Karnataka according to their education qualification as mentioned below:-

  • Rs. 3000 per month for unemployed graduate (who have bachelor’s degree)
  • Rs. 1500 per month for unemployed diploma holders.

STEP 1: To apply for yuva nidhi scheme, firstly go to the Seva Sindhu portal – https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/Sevasindhu/English

STEP 2: If you are a new user, click “New User Register Here” link to make registration at sevasindhu portal first.

STEP 3: Here you can enter aadhaar number, captcha and click “Next” button. Then you will have to enter OTP received on your aadhar linked mobile number.

STEP 4: After validation, you can proceed to apply online for yuva nidhi yojana by entering email ID, mobile number, password, captcha and clicking “Submit” button in the opened registration form.

STEP 5: Next you can make login using mobile number, OTP/password.

STEP 6: Next seva sindhu dashboard will open. Click at “Apply for Services” link or “View all available services” link.

STEP 7: Then find Yuvanidhi Yojana service by entering “Yuva” in search box. Then fill yuva nidhi scheme Karnataka application form and submit it.

Eligibility Criteria for Yuvanidhi Scheme

Interested candidates who want to apply for Yuva Nidhi Scheme shall have to fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned here:-

  • Applicant youth must be permanent citizen of Karnataka state.
  • Candidate must be unemployed.
  • Candidate must hold a bachelor degree or diploma certificate.
  • Both male and female candidates can apply for Yuva Nidhi.
  • All the official documents of educational qualifications must be present.

Karnataka Unemployment Allowance Guidelines

Under Yuva Nidhi, the government will provide Rs 3,000 every month to graduates and Rs 1,500 to diploma holders for two years if they remain unemployed for six months after graduation. As per the government order, graduates and diploma holders of Karnataka domicile should apply through the Seva Sindhu portal with a self-declaration if they remain unemployed for six months. The state will start transferring the amount to their bank accounts for 2 years.

“In case the beneficiary gets a job before two years, the assistance will stop. Those who fail to declare and continue to avail the benefit will be penalised,” the order said. The government also issued an order pertaining to implementation of Anna Bhagya scheme under which every member of BPL families and Antyodaya card holders will get 10 kg rice per month free.
