Eligibility
To qualify for this scholarship, students should meet the following requirements:
- Must be a permanent inhabitant of Nagaland pursuing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agriculture.
- Institution must hold a valid AISHE or UDISE code.
- Must have passed the previous academic examination, as repeaters are not eligible.

Application Process
For the 2025-26 session, all applications were accepted online through the Common Scholarship Portal. Students who received the scholarship in 2024-25 applied as renewal, and new students applied as fresh applicants. Same online route is expected to be used when next window opens.
STEP 1 - Open the official portal at scholarship.nagaland.gov.in and register by creating an account with the Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Portal asks for Aadhaar authentication through DigiLocker, so register on DigiLocker before starting.
STEP 2 - Verify the mobile number with an OTP, log in and update the profile with personal and bank account details. Bank account must belong to the applicant, otherwise the application is rejected.
STEP 3 - Fill in the academic information, upload the required documents and the Institution Verification Form as per Annexure I, then review the details carefully and submit the form before the deadline.
Application via Common Service Center (CSC)
Students who need offline help can visit the nearest Common Service Center. Staff there will fill the application form and make sure the documents are uploaded correctly.
