Annapurna Bhandar Yojana Application and Status Check: West Bengal government gives ₹3,000 every month to eligible women under Annapurna Bhandar Yojana, the scheme that took the place of Lakshmir Bhandar. The money is sent straight into Aadhaar linked bank accounts through DBT payment.

Existing Lakshmir Bhandar women were moved to the new scheme automatically, so they did not have to apply again. The online application window for new applicants closed on 31 July 2026. Women whose forms were rejected during verification can resubmit them from the same portal login since 20 August 2026. The same portal is used for registration as well as payment status check.

Annapurna Bhandar Yojana Status Check and Login

Applicants can check payment status and application status on the West Bengal social security portal. Registered women can use the login option, while those without a login can track with mobile number, Aadhaar card or Swasthya Sathi card number.

STEP 1 - Open the official portal at socialregistry.wb.gov.in or the office login page at socialsecurity.wb.gov.in/Office/login to begin the status check.

STEP 2 - The Annapurna Bhandar portal homepage will open as shown below:

STEP 3 - On the tracking page, choose the option you want and enter the registered mobile number, application ID, Aadhaar number or Swasthya Sathi card number in the box given.

STEP 4 - Hit the Submit button. The screen will show the current status of your application along with the payment details of the last instalment credited.

Annapurna Bhandar Portal Password Reset

Women who had an old Lakshmir Bhandar login may need to reset the password after the portal change. The reset option sits right on the login page, and it takes a few minutes with an OTP.

STEP 1 - Visit socialsecurity.wb.gov.in/login and let the login page load.

STEP 2 - Click the Generate OTP button on the login page to open the password reset screen shown below.

STEP 3 - Enter the registered mobile number, click Send OTP, type the OTP you receive and set a new password for your Annapurna Bhandar account.

How to Apply Online for Annapurna Bhandar Yojana

Fresh applications closed on 31 July 2026. Women who never applied can submit a form at the Jan Kalyan camps planned for November and December 2026. The process is fully online and the required documents are uploaded in the same form. STEP 1 - Go to socialregistry.wb.gov.in and click the option to apply in the citizen portal.

STEP 2 - Register with your mobile number and Aadhaar number, then complete the OTP check to open the application form.

STEP 3 - Fill in personal details, address, bank account details and Swasthya Sathi card number, and pick the category that applies to you.

STEP 4 - Upload scanned copies of the required documents, review the form once and submit it to get an application ID.

STEP 5 - Note down the application ID safely. It is needed later for status check and for any complaint.

Offline Application Process

Women who are not comfortable with the online form can apply offline as well. Forms are collected at Duare Sarkar camps, block and SDO offices, and municipal offices. A copy of the Annapurna Bhandar form PDF is available for download in English, Bengali and Hindi.

Who Can Apply for Annapurna Bhandar Yojana

Eligibility rules are simple to understand. Government has listed a clear set of conditions that a woman must meet to get the ₹3,000 monthly support.

• Women aged 25 to 60 years who are permanent residents of West Bengal can apply for the scheme.
• Applicants must not be income taxpayers, and they should not hold a permanent government job or receive a regular government salary or pension.
• Aadhaar must be linked to the bank account and Swasthya Sathi enrolment must be done before the money can be credited.
• Women already getting Lakshmir Bhandar benefits are moved to the new scheme without a fresh application, though verification is still done to remove duplicate or ineligible names.

Benefits and Payment Details

Annapurna Bhandar Yojana gives ₹3,000 per month, which works out to ₹36,000 a year for every eligible woman. This is a big increase over the older Lakshmir Bhandar rates of ₹1,500 for general category families and ₹1,700 for SC and ST category families. Payments go through DBT into the bank account linked with Aadhaar, and the instalment is credited in phases after document verification is complete. The September installment of ₹3,000 is being credited from 17 September 2026 to about 1.58 crore women.
