UP Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 2026 Online Registration Form for Artisans

Uttar Pradesh government's Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 is accepting online applications from traditional artisans of the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched this scheme to help carpenters, tailors, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, barbers, cobblers and other craftsmen sharpen their skills and build their own small business.

The upgraded 2.0 version now covers 25 traditional and modern trades. Eligible artisans get 10 days of free skill training with a ₹500 per day stipend, a modern tool kit worth up to ₹15,000 and loan support up to ₹10 lakh for starting or expanding their work. Online registration for the current session is open on the official MSME portal of Uttar Pradesh.

UP Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 Online Application Process 2026

Applications are taken online through the Directorate of Industries portal of Uttar Pradesh. The older portal link diupmsme.upsdc.gov.in is not working now. Applicants need to register on the UP MSME application portal and can see scheme details on the official Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 page. Before applying, read the official scheme brochure PDF once.

STEP 1 - Go to the official MSME service portal of Uttar Pradesh and click on the scheme registration link. Enter basic details like full name, mobile number, Aadhaar number and email ID. Generate OTP for mobile verification and create a secure password. After successful registration, you will receive a user ID.

On the next page, select the "New User Registration" option to open the registration form:

STEP 2 - Log in with the registered credentials and open the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 application form. Fill in personal details such as name, father or husband's name, date of birth, gender and category. Provide the complete address including district, block or tehsil, village or ward and PIN code. Enter business or trade details and describe the current livelihood activity. Add bank account details like account number, IFSC code and branch:

STEP 3 - Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the specified format and file size. This includes identity proof (Aadhaar card), residence proof, age proof, current passport size photo, bank passbook or statement, business declaration or trade proof and a sworn affidavit that you have not taken the scheme benefit earlier.

STEP 4 - Check all entered details and uploaded documents once before submitting. Submit the application online through the portal. Note down the application reference or tracking number shown after submission. You will get an SMS or email confirmation on the registered mobile number or email ID, so keep that acknowledgement safe for future use.

Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 Benefits

Officials said the upgraded version offers better support than the earlier 6-day training format. The complete benefit list is given below:

• 10 days free training: Eligible artisans get 10 days of free non-residential skill upgradation training instead of the earlier 6-day course. Free food is given during the training and beneficiaries also get an RPL skill certificate.
• Stipend of ₹5,000: Trainees get ₹500 per day for 10 days, paid directly into their bank account through DBT.
• Free tool kit up to ₹15,000: After completing training, every artisan receives a modern tool kit worth up to ₹15,000 at no cost.
• Loan up to ₹10 lakh: Trained beneficiaries can get a loan of up to ₹10 lakh for a new business, expansion, technology upgrade or quality improvement.
• Subsidy and easy repayment: The loan carries 15% margin money subsidy, interest subsidy for up to 5 years, a 6 month moratorium and repayment in up to 54 monthly installments. No guarantee is required as the loan is covered under CGTMSE credit guarantee.
• Marketing help: The scheme helps artisans join online marketplaces, GeM and digital platforms, and arranges exposure visits for them.
• Artisan Connect portal: Artisans can also register on the Vishwakarma Artisan Connect portal at vishwakarma.up.gov.in to show their work and connect with customers, contractors and employers.

Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 Eligibility and Conditions

Applicants must check the following rules fixed by the state government before filling the form:

• The applicant must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• The applicant must be working in one of the 25 notified trades covered under the scheme.
• For margin money loan, the applicant must have completed or be undergoing training under the scheme.
• The applicant must not be a defaulter of any bank, financial institution or government body.
• Only one member of a family, meaning husband or wife, can get the benefit under the scheme.
• The applicant must not have received a tool kit under the scheme in the last two years.
• The applicant must not have taken benefit of any other central or state grant scheme earlier.
• Men from general category pay 10% of the project cost as their own contribution, while women, men from other eligible categories, third gender, disabled persons and ex-servicemen pay 5%.
