2BHK Telangana 4th Phase List Status 2026
Former Chief Minister KCR launched the 2BHK housing scheme in October 2015 to provide double bedroom houses to poor families. 2BHK means a house with two bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen. The scheme gives fully subsidized houses, so eligible families do not pay anything from their own pocket.
Since the Congress government took over in late 2023, the old 2BHK scheme has been rebranded and expanded into Indiramma Indlu. The 4th phase allotments from the earlier BRS era are now being completed under this new scheme. Eligible families building on their own plot get ₹5 lakh and don't pay anything from their side.
Phase 1 of Indiramma Illu sanctioned 4.5 lakh houses, 3,500 in each of the 119 constituencies, with a ₹22,000 crore budget. Pending 2BHK applications, including 4th phase ones, were checked again in the Praja Palana survey before names went on these lists.
On 30 April 2026, Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy told district collectors to finish allotting every pending 2BHK house by the end of May. Half-built 2BHK units get up to ₹5 lakh more under Indiramma Indlu, after cutting what was already spent on them. If the contractor won't finish the work, the allottee can complete it and the money comes straight to them. Houses given to people who don't live in them will be cancelled and handed to other eligible families.
Cabinet has also cleared 2.5 lakh more houses in Phase 2 of Indiramma Illu, at 2,000 per constituency. In some districts like Adilabad, Phase 2 applications are being taken only from families living in huts.
Indiramma Indlu Towers list for Hyderabad
GHMC areas, where the 2nd and 3rd phase 2BHK draws were held, now get Indiramma Indlu Towers in the CURE (Core Urban Region Economy) zone. Telangana Housing Board took applications from 21 July to 15 August 2026 for 7,340 flats across 16 assembly constituencies in Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy.
These flats are not free like old 2BHK houses. Each one costs ₹11 lakh, out of which ₹5 lakh is government subsidy and the family pays ₹6 lakh. Centre has also approved ₹100.8 crore under PMAY-U 2.0 for 6,720 of these flats.
Out of 60,720 applications, 40,900 were found eligible in the list released on 25 August 2026. Reasons for rejection are shown against each application on the Indiramma Indlu website. Lucky draws ran constituency-wise from 28 to 31 August and were streamed live, with a 20% waiting list picked for every category.
Field checks after the draw confirmed 5,521 of the first 6,643 selected people as eligible. Allotment letters started on 21 September 2026. Each letter comes by SMS and WhatsApp on the registered mobile number and can also be downloaded from tghb.telangana.gov.in. It shows the first instalment amount and the last date to pay it. Housing Board says no broker or private person has any role in allotment, so pay only as per the letter. For doubts, call the TGHB call centre at 040-24603572.

How to Check Indiramma Indlu Status Online
STEP 1 - Open the official Indiramma Indlu portal at indirammaindlu.telangana.gov.in and click on the Application Search option.
STEP 2 - Choose the search option from Mobile No, Aadhaar No, Application ID or FSC Card No and enter the required details.
STEP 3 - Click on the Search button. Your name, sanction status and other details will appear on the screen.
Hyderabad Towers applicants can check their application and lottery status on the Telangana Housing Board portal at tghb.telangana.gov.in/cure-status. For Indiramma Illu houses in districts, contact the local Mandal Development Office (MDO) or call the helpline 1800-425-0025.
