Who Can Apply
Rules are simple but the registration part matters the most. If the worker is not registered with the board on the marriage date, the claim will not go through. Check these points before filing the form.

How to Apply for Vivah Sahayata Yojana
Application is offline. Old MP e-District service links for this scheme no longer work, so do not waste time on them. Approval is done by the Chief Executive Officer of Janpad Panchayat in rural areas, and by the Municipal Corporation or Chief Municipal Officer in urban areas.
STEP 1 - Get the Vivah Sahayata Yojana application form from your Janpad Panchayat office in a village area, or from the Nagar Nigam, Nagar Palika or Nagar Parishad office in a town area. The scheme rules can be read on the labour department page at labour.mp.gov.in before filling the form.
STEP 2 - Fill the form with the worker registration number, name of the bride, marriage date and bank account details. Write the details exactly as they appear on the labour card and Aadhaar, otherwise the file gets held up at checking stage.
STEP 3 - Attach the required documents, get the form signed where needed, and submit it at the same Janpad Panchayat or urban body office. Take a receipt or acknowledgement with a date on it.
STEP 4 - Submit the claim within 60 days of the marriage date. After the checking process, the approved amount is released, with the cash part going to the bank account through DBT payment.
