Silicosis Rehabilitation Pension- Haryana Silicosis Board

Haryana Silicosis Board has updated the Silicosis Rehabilitation Pension scheme with new benefits under the Haryana Pneumoconiosis Rehabilitation Policy. Benefits

The scheme provides the following benefits to eligible workers:

• Monthly pension of ₹4,000 for Silicosis-affected workers classified under ILO categories A, B, or C, paid for as long as the eligible person lives
• One-time rehabilitation support of ₹5 lakh on confirmation of diagnosis by the Pneumoconiosis Diagnosis Board
• Family pension of ₹3,500 per month to the widow or widower after the worker's death
• ₹1 lakh provided to the family in case of the worker's death, along with ₹15,000 for funeral expenses
• Annual financial support of ₹5,000 to ₹12,000 for children's education based on class
• ₹51,000 support for daughter's marriage and ₹11,000 for son's marriage

Eligibility

Workers can apply for the pension if they meet these conditions:

1. Silicosis Diagnosis Board, Haryana must confirm the diagnosis and classify the condition under ILO category A, B, or C
2. The worker must have a valid registration with the Haryana Silicosis Board
3. The worker must have been employed in a factory or construction site in Haryana
4. The worker must have worked continuously in Haryana for at least 5 years since the policy notification date
5. Age must be between 60 and 100 years
6. The worker must not be receiving a similar pension from any other government scheme

Application Process

Offline Process

STEP 1 - Visit your nearest Labour Office to collect the application form, or download Annexure I for registration and Annexure V for benefits from the official Labour Department website at https://hrylabour.gov.in/.

STEP 2 - Fill out the form with your personal and employment details accurately.

STEP 3 - Attach all required documents including medical reports, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, passport-size photographs, work experience proof, bank passbook, proof of residence, and ration card.

STEP 4 - Submit the completed application to the Assistant Director, Industrial Health of your district.

STEP 5 - The Assistant Director will review and forward the application to the Office of the Labour Commissioner-cum-Welfare Commissioner for evaluation.

STEP 6 - Wait for the official notification regarding your approval. Upon approval, the pension payment will be processed and credited to your bank account.

STEP 2 - If you are new, click on the Click Here button to register. Enter your mandatory details, upload your documents, and list your work experience.

STEP 3 - Accept the declaration and click Continue to submit your registration.

STEP 4 - Verify your mobile number using the OTP received via SMS.

STEP 5 - Your User ID and Password will arrive via SMS, allowing you to track your application status on the portal.
