Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Mandal is running Shiksha Protsahan Puraskar Yojana 2026 for children of factory and establishment workers, and applications are being taken every academic year. Students in higher studies get a yearly reward of ₹10,000 to ₹25,000, paid straight into an Aadhaar-linked bank account through DBT payment.
This is a reward scheme based on marks, not a general scholarship. So a student needs 70% marks in most courses, and 60% in medical and pharmacy line courses. Only two children of one worker can get the benefit.
Shiksha Protsahan Puraskar Yojana 2026 Details
Scheme runs under Madhya Pradesh Shram Kalyan Nidhi Adhiniyam, 1982. Workers whose factory or establishment contributes to Shram Kalyan Mandal can get their children covered. Main aim is to help meritorious students of worker families continue graduation, engineering, medical, law or post-graduation studies without money problems stopping them.
Payment comes once in an academic year and a fresh application is required every year. Students already getting any other government scholarship are not covered. Backlog or a study gap between the last exam and the current course also makes a student not eligible.
How to Apply for Shiksha Protsahan Puraskar Yojana
Form is downloaded from the Lok Seva Guarantee portal and submitted at a service centre with employer and college verification. Steps are given below.
STEP 1 - Go to the Lok Seva Guarantee Madhya Pradesh portal and look for Shiksha Protsahan Puraskar Yojana (Shram Kalyan Mandal) in the latest services pop-up. If it is not showing there, scroll down to the Samaj Kalyan or Pension section and pick the scheme from the service list.
STEP 2 - Open the scheme service page and read the rules given there. On the right side, the Paripatra Dekhen section keeps the official circular, and the application form download link is available on the same page.
STEP 3 - Fill every column of the form in the prescribed format, Annexure Ek. Student details, parent job details, bank account number, IFSC code, Aadhaar number, current class, last year marks and the institution SKML code all have to be written clearly. Blank or unclear forms get rejected.
STEP 4 - Take the form to the parent's employer. Employer has to fill the employer part with seal, signature, EPF number, ESI number and SKML code. Without this the form will not be accepted.
STEP 5 - Get the college part signed and stamped by the Principal. It confirms current enrolment, previous class marks, and that no other government scholarship is being taken.
STEP 6 - Student and parent both sign the declaration and the Aadhaar seeding confirmation part. If the bank account is not seeded with Aadhaar, the payment will fail and the student will be responsible for it.
STEP 7 - Attach self-attested copies of the required documents and submit the file at the nearest Lok Seva Kendra, MP Online Kiosk, CSC or Shram Kalyan Kendra. Staff there upload everything and give an acknowledgement receipt. Keep that receipt safe.
STEP 8 - Track the application on the portal. Accept or reject updates also come by SMS on the registered mobile number. If it gets rejected, an online appeal can be filed.
