Quality Certification Assistance Scheme

Benefits
The scheme offers a reimbursement of 75% of the certification cost, up to a maximum of ₹1,00,000. This support covers a wide range of certifications approved by the Quality Council of India, including ISO, HACCP, BSI, WHO-GMP, ZED, TS and Hallmark.
The benefit can be claimed on top of any other support provided by the Government of India. This helps a small unit recover most of the cost of getting certified without affecting its other government support.
Eligibility
To apply for this scheme, a business unit needs to meet the following conditions:
- The unit should not appear in the restrictive list notified by the State government, and should not be a closed unit.
- The unit must hold a valid NOC or CLU from the competent authority if this is applicable to its business.
- The unit should be engaged in active commercial production and should be in regular production when the subsidy is paid out.
- The unit should be registered with the District Industries Centre and hold valid operational licenses.
Exclusions
The scheme does not support units that are closed or those that have not kept valid operational licenses or the required NOCs. Funds are not released to any unit that stops production before the subsidy is paid.
Application Process
Applications for this scheme are now filed online through the Saral Haryana portal. Follow these steps to apply:
STEP 1 - Go to the Saral Haryana portal at saralharyana.gov.in and register or log in with the business account details.
STEP 2 - Search for the service named Quality Certification Assistance Scheme Sanction under the Directorate of MSME.
STEP 3 - Open the service page and click on the Apply For Service option to start the online claim form.
STEP 4 - Fill in the unit details accurately and upload the required certificates and documents as asked on the form.
STEP 5 - Submit the application and note down the application reference number to track the status later.
If the department finds any deficiency in the application, it notifies the applicant within 10 working days. The applicant then gets a refinement window of 6 weeks to correct the issues, and final approval is normally given within 60 working days.

- Acknowledgement of EM Part-II or UAM registration, along with the certificate of incorporation or partnership deed.
- Board resolution or Power of Attorney authorizing the person filing the claim.
