Benefits
This scheme provides financial support to selected scholars based on their research category. All awards are granted on a case-by-case basis as decided by the selection committee.

Note: A maximum of one fellowship is awarded in each category annually. The final fellowship amount is assessed based on the recommendation of the selection committee following the submission of the research project.
Eligibility
- Junior Category: Post-graduates aged 35 years or younger can apply under this category.
- Senior Category: Post-graduates above the age of 35 years can apply here.
- Post-Doctoral Category: PhD holders can apply with no age restriction.
- Lifetime Limit: The fellowship can be received only once in a lifetime per category.
For instance, if someone has completed post-graduation and is 30 years old, they qualify for the junior category. If someone is 40 with a post-graduate degree, they are eligible for the senior category.
Exclusions
Recipients cannot avail of any other fellowship offered by the Department for a period of 10 years starting from the date of project submission. Additionally, any grace period or extension granted does not count toward the total financial assistance limit.

Step 3: Fill in all mandatory details, paste a passport-sized photograph (ensuring signature across it), and attach all required documents.
