Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme supports students from low-income families in Rajasthan by giving annual financial help for their higher education. This scheme targets talented students who score well in their 12th board exams, so they can continue their studies without money problems. Applications for the 2025-26 session are being accepted online through the Rajasthan Scholarship Portal.

Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme is a dedicated scheme of the college education department, government of Rajasthan. It helps raise educational standards across the state while giving study support to children from poor families. Eligible students can apply online through the official scholarship portal and get the benefit if they meet the criteria.

This scheme gives scholarships to the first one lakh students whose family income is up to ₹2,50,000 a year and who do not get any other state or central financial help. Both fresh applicants and continuing students from the previous year should make sure their details match the required documents list.

Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme - Introduction

Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme focuses on merit rather than caste. Unlike the Samaj Kalyan scholarship, which is based on category, this scheme rewards students who pass their 12th board exam with good marks and rank in the top one lakh merit list. The main aim is to remove money barriers that often stop talented students from pursuing higher education.
