Haryana government's Saksham Yuva Scheme, earlier known as the Rojgar Sangam Yojana, is accepting applications from educated unemployed youth of the state. The scheme pays a monthly allowance and keeps registered youth engaged in real work so their skills stay sharp.
A registered graduate receives ₹2,000 a month as unemployment allowance and a post-graduate receives ₹3,500 a month. A 12th pass applicant gets ₹1,200 a month. Along with this, youth who do 100 hours of honorary work in a government office or department get an honorarium of ₹6,000 a month. So a post graduate youth can get up to ₹9,500 in total every month. More than 2.45 lakh youth have already enrolled under the scheme.
