New entrepreneurs applying for approvals under Nivesh Mitra 3.0 need to register on the new portal first. Here is how to complete registration and login:-
STEP 1 - Go to the official website at niveshmitra.up.gov.in and click on "Login/Register" on the top menu. This takes applicants to onlineniveshmitra.up.gov.in.
STEP 2 - On the login page, click "Don't have account? Register!" to open the registration form.
STEP 3 - Enter company name, entrepreneur name, mobile number and email ID in the registration form, fill the captcha and submit to complete the registration process. A login ID and password get generated for future use.
STEP 4 - Once registered, choose the "Entrepreneur" login type on the same page, enter login ID, password and captcha, and click Login. First time users can check the user manual on the portal for guidance on filling the Common Application Form (CAF).
Entrepreneurs with applications already filed on the older system can still use it for tracking and payments. Applications submitted earlier on Nivesh Mitra 2.0 at niveshmitra.up.nic.in remain valid there for checking status, replying to department queries and making fee payments. A notice on the new portal confirms that a few services not yet moved to version 3.0 should still be applied for through Nivesh Mitra 2.0.
Departments can raise a query only once on any application. A "Know Your Approvals & Incentives" wizard on the new portal helps investors understand which approvals and incentives apply to their business before they even start filling the form.
