Maharashtra government's Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojana is accepting online applications from farmers for solar-powered agricultural water pumps. MahaVitaran (Mahadiscom) is the nodal agency implementing this scheme, and interested farmers can register and fill the application form at the official MSEDCL solar portal at www.mahadiscom.in.

Under this scheme, the state government plans to provide 1,00,000 solar water pumps to farmers in a phased manner. The first phase covers 25,000 pumps, the second phase covers 50,000, and the third phase covers 25,000. The scheme was launched through a government resolution dated 1 January 2019.

STEP 1 - Visit the Maharashtra Mukhyamantri Solar Pump Yojana official website at https://www.mahadiscom.in/solar/index.html.

STEP 2 - At the homepage, scroll over the "Beneficiary Facility" link present in the header. Click on "Apply Online" and then "New Customer".

STEP 3 - The online application form for Off-grid Solar Agriculture Pump for Paid Pending / New Connection Consumer (Format-A1) will appear.

STEP 4 - Fill in the details of the applicant, location, nearest consumer details, and type of irrigation source. Upload the required documents and click on "Submit Request" to complete the solar pump online registration in Maharashtra.

• Fill in the complete information on Form A-1 and upload the copies of the documents, including the 7/12 extract, Aadhaar card, and caste certificate (for SC / ST beneficiaries).
• The applicant is required to sign the A-1 form and the declaration.
• Within 10 days of receiving the online A-1 form, a demand note will be issued from the field office after the survey. If any discrepancies are found, the applicant will be informed accordingly.
• After the demand note is paid, the beneficiary will submit the name of the agency (only 25,000 is applicable for the tender).
• Applicants will be notified via SMS at each stage.
